Name ONE superhero who would not work incredibly well with Armstrong as an antagonist
>>86115383
>Power Rangers
>not capeshit
That's a bold claim.
>>86115397
I'm actually really surprised that Wonder Woman has yet to battle a PMC secretly controlled by an insane senator who secretly has Hulk-like powers. Though she has fought a bunch of hammy cyborgs before.
>>86115415
I like her already. She seems like the type of villain that would hang out with her nemesis on weekends.
They would make great elite mooks.
>>86115415
She'd make a great Billy Batson villain.
>>86115490
do you see a single cape?
>>86115383
>Villains who would become horrible by associating themselves with capeshit.
>>86115526
like another set of enforcers? jobbers, but occasionally a good artist gives em a badass fight against Daredevil or Moon Knight?
>>86115533
who?
pretty much any villain from Mortal Kombat
>>86115415
>Height: 6'
My childhood boner just got a lot harder.
>>86115535
>Oh, hey uhhh....Miss
>my boobs or the floor, pick one and look at it!
>>86115541
>>86115541
No, I see several.
Also,
>implying all superheroes have capes
And yes, Power rangers are superheroes.
>>86115594
>over a decade after Zedd was retired
>>86115383
The motherfucker destroyed the zords with one blast from his staff and had what basically was the result of a love affair between shen long and the death star, motherfucker was awesome.
Still, Marvel would probably put a wig con him and do another "LOL THE VILLIAN IS TRUMP" comic, while Superman would probably beat him with one punch, don't really see him working as a cape villian
>>86115613
pssst...
hey faggot...
>>86115594
beat you to it.
>>86115618
OP here. I should correct the title
"ITT: non-capeshit villains who'd make fucking incredible capeshit villains under writers and editors who had even the foggiest idea of what they were doing"
>>86115616
how about something closer the time, then?
>>86115383
Jacket would be a god-tier Batman/Moon Knight villain.
>>86115383
>power rangers
>not capeshit mixed with shounenshit for the biggest shit pie
>>86115649
Maybe Zedd could be a good villian against Wonder Woman, she's usted to fighting monsters after all
>>86115613
superheroes = / = capeshit
>>86115581
>>86115535
>>86115769
>Billy swoops in to save Dark Queen from her exploding doomsday device
>"I can feel you kneading my butt
>"I didn't tell you to stop"
>>86115747
What
Are you fucking serious
Dr. Thrax is pretty much a supervillain anyway.
>>86115885
Are you dense?
What about non-capeshit villains who'd make fucking incredible capeshit heroes?
Set him up next to Vandal Savage
>>86115885
He is right. That's why we can't talk about Hancock or jumper on /co/.
>>86116084
we can't? are you sure?
>>86115711
Sentai is older than WSJ you fucking twat.
I don't know about "villain", but this guy
Psycho Mantis?
>>86115383
>>86116463
who would he even fight? the Legion of Superheroes? The Fantastic Four? green Arrow?
>>86115594
>Rita was in that season
>>86115535
>>86115581
>>86115769
>>86115860
>Dark Queen and Billy Batson /ss/
G-guys please
>>86116476
He's from the year 3000, so probably the Legion
ANY of the fucking Mad Max villains, but especially The Humungus.
>>86116572
>>86116463
Heh
>>86116463
>>86116476
>>86116543
>literally from the year 3000
>battles a group of time traveling superheroes
>main opponent is the stern female leader who wears pink
... Huh.
>>86116010
>>86115926
The Scrin, Tiberium, all the wacky shit from RA2 and RA3 all fit in pretty well
>>86116572
>>86116604
I don't know why Vernon Wells didn't get more big parts as villains. Wez, Ransik and Bennett are the only ones that come to mind. His facial expressions are fucking great.
Every slasher villain are street level cape villains when you think about it.
Xenomorphs, Yautja, Pierson's Puppeteers.
>>86116790
What Lantern Coprs would a Yautja join?
>>86116878
Sinestro Corps.
>>86116678
>>86115383
So Capeshit villains who would make...capeshit villains?
Mandy
>>86115383
>>86115415
>Species: Human
There's an interesting story there, I'm sure.
>>86116911
As would the xenomorphs.
In all honesty, a puppeteer should probably be in there as well
>>86115383
he´d be a perfect lex luthor character but with powers
>>86115541
But anon, the originals had capes
>>86115572
What this anon said.
>Quan Chi
>Shinnok
>Onaga
>Shao Kahn
>Shang Tsung
>Moloch
>Drahmin
>Goro
>Motaro
Etc
Vandal Kane Savage
The Predator
The Alien
Albert Wesker post infection
The Titan Sargeras
Chucky the homocidal doll
Alyx Mercer during/right after Prototype 1 (2 doesn't exist)
The T-1000 from Terminator 2
I think a villain like kira could make a neat ms marvel villain.
>>86118488
>Alyx Mercer
>Alyx
It's spelled Alex
>>86115383
The church of the broken God would be great foes to any tech based heroes.
>>86118818
Sue me
Also this guy
if not pic related, then maybe like, the dcu equivilant: batman's intellect, superman's powers, doomsday's unkillability, connection to the Speedforce...basically make him as absurdly op as possible
>Mercenary
>100+ ton strength
>Strong sense of honor
He's basically abetterversion of Bane
>>86116534
want ye more?
>>86116658
he was also the villain in Nam Angels
>>86119096
Which reminds me Frieza would make a pretty good cape villain. Leader of an interstellar empire of evil aliens. Could see him having run ins with Green Lantern Corp or Nova Corp
>>86119096
What would Marvel's "Cell" be made of? Assuming cosmic entities can't be used because they lack cells to bioengineer.
Stephen and Wanda for magic
Black Bolt, Magneto, Thor for power
Xavier for telepathy
Namor for water, Captain Marvel for air/space/energy
Cap for strategy
Tony, Reed, and Pym for brains
>>86116521
Wait what, is that Rita the character just a good guy? Or just the same actress?
It's been ages since I've watched PowerRangers. I don't think I followed it past the original team. Past MMPR sure but I think once there was nobody of the originals left I stopped.
Did Zedd ever do any actual fighting himself?
>>86119245
Sue for invisibility
Darwin for adaptability
Surfer for Cosmic
>>86119285
Little bit of both
In the source material used for Power Rangers, Super Sentai, the Japanese actress that played Rita played another character in the Super Sentai that was used for Mystic Force.
So when Mystic Force came around for using the same character, they hired the same Voice Actress they used to play Rita in Power Rangers to voice the new character (called the Mystic Mother), and all but directly said it was reformed Rita Repulsa.
perfect for Dr. Strange villain
>>86115599
So wait... are you thinking of the dude int he armor or Conan?
>>86119403
>and all but directly said it was reformed Rita Repulsa.
Nice.
Still can't believe I didn't realized the Power Rangers franchise was taken from Japan and involved restaging and voice acting until I saw Kung Pow: Enter the Fist for the first time. I think I was a teenager when I saw that.
>>86119483
dude in the armor. but Conan would also make a pretty terrific Cape Villain. like, gets teleported to the modern age and becomes Marvel's Deathstroke
>>86119245
>What would Marvel's "Cell" be made of?
Marvel's Cell is essentially Super Skrull. Just throw in a dash of wolverine
>>86119425
>implying a supertech villain wouldn't be better
>>86119499
>Hot-head
Our Lord and Master Doom is a Baneposter, confirmed
>>86116735
>Batman fighting Freddy
Neat. Also this guy.
>Superman puts Lex in jail
>Lexcorp stocks plummet
>they get bought by GrubTech
>CEO Hans Gruber, ex-nazi officer and superscientistwhen supes defeats him 1000 issues later he gets replaced by his brother
>>86119665
thats Jason tho
>>86119689
He said slasher, and we all know Freddy>Jason
>>86119709
Jason doesn't sleep tho.... or does he?
>>86118023
Ah, cobra commander's rarely-seen early days...
>>86119534
>like, gets teleported to the modern age and becomes Marvel's Deathstroke
More like gets teleported to the modern age and becomes a pimp.
>>86117698
Who has the same absolute madman capabilities as Joseph, though?
>>86119403
Oh shit, is Mystic Force worth watching?
>>86115541
do you see a single cape
>>86119562
>we will never have a Master like Delgado's again
>>86119678
I love Hans but I like his brother even more. The Riddler could learn a lot from Simon.
>>86116158
are they cartoons or comics, anon?
>>86116735
I could see Jason going on a few solo outings against people like Werewolf by Night or Ghost Rider, but then he's reduced to an unwitting henchmen by super villains that capture him and dump him on the heroes, or release him into a crowded area when they need a distraction.
>>86115383
Can't wait for him to show up in the comics. They'll finally be able to make him the evil galactic menace he was meant to be.
>>86120597
Delgado's Master was ruined by being overused. Macqueen is best Master.
Would probably end up being similar to Mikoboshi but Kain from Tenchi.
>>86120733
If you watch real Super Sentai you won't even need Power Rangers anything in your life, there's literally no reason to subject yourself to an objectively inferior product
>>86120982
If you watch Ultraman you won't even need Super Sentai anything in your life, there's literally no reason to subject yourself to an objectively inferior product
>>86120982
But I do watch Super Sentai, anon. I can't watch the Power Rangers shows since they're awful, but the comic's actually really good.
>>86120292
yeah, yeah, buys a leopard
>>86121261
>2019
>Bane gets a solo miniseries
>Gets captured at the end of the first issue
>last page is a small guy doing a power stance...
There needs to be mroe smug american villains
>>86121064
Is it? Huh
>>86121017
Super Sentai isn't cobbled together out of mutilated Ultraman footage, anon.
>>86121558
Ultraman is still better.
>Shapeshifting monster that kills children, transforming into their greatest fears
>Can be killed by childhood belief and willpower
You tell me right now that Pennywise wouldn't make an absolutely perfect Captain Marvel Villian.
>>86121683
does Pennywise have some way of turning him back into Billy?
>>86115572
I just want DC to make mortal kombat one of their mystery worlds complete with an ongoing and occasonial crossovers.
I mean, they even flashpointed their universe.
>>86119379
season 3 had a brief 1v1 fight between lord zedd and the white ranger, when tommy snuck into his base to try and rescue a kidnapped Kimberly
https://youtu.be/IuGpZTKerks
>>86121593
In your subjective view. Objectively, a dumbed-down Frankenstein made from another show's corpse should not exist.
>>86121717
I think ti would work better if he couldn;t be defeated by Captain Marvel, but COULD be defeated by Billy.
Like, Billy has to shazam back willingly in order to defeat him.
>>86121529
Yeah, it's not afraid to hit some heavy subjects, like ptsd, while still having a fun air to it. Not to mention it doesn't follow the typical PR/SS Monster of the Week formula. It honestly reminds me of a bit of Go-Busters with how it's handling everything, which is a bonus for me since that's my favorite SS series.
>>86121683
I submitGold Driveas another villain for Captain Marvel.
>>86121737
>to try and rescue a kidnapped Kimberly
there was nothing but little bits of bone left, man
I still can't sleep right
Keyser Soze, whoever it is, but again we probably have a few of those already
Rhulad Sengar would make a good villain, dude driven insane by a cursed sword that forces him back to life every time he dies.
>>86119403
It was a different voice actress
>>86121781
>>86120982
>>86120462
It's definitely one the better ones next to SPD.
>>86120462
Yeah, it´s very underrated IMO.
Red does take too much of the spotlight at times, but not nearly as much as people claim it.
Also, the ending kinda comes out of nowhwere, which is sad since if it had a bit more of a buildup it could have made the season way more interesting. Aside from that, it´s pretty good.
>>86115397
Armstrong would be the coolest Captain America villain of all time.
>>86121315
pegasus would make a fantastic capeshit villain
I'd say the guy who did the Submission Agenda, but Dr. Psycho already exists.
>>86119799
It shook him to the core, ever since his unit died he was never the same and blamed the world for it. No villian would want the world to see their past.
>>86119096
>>86119210
Goku could work too (Just make him from rural Japan)
>>86115383
At least the Archie version anyway. Metal versions of the league or avengers would be kinda cool. Plus him fucking with robo characters would be cool to see.
An immortal, bio-mechanical killing machine with the mind of a charismatic psychopath.
Great potential for character interactions, is a huge physical threat to anyone not top-tier and no excuses needed for why he keeps coming back.
>I regret everything...my sweet.
>>86125810
Rampage is just a shitty crab Cannibal Lecture ripoff.
>>86126120
I don't remember Hannibal Lecter being practically immortal or turning into a tank.
>>86124797
like Arcade, but the same?
>>86115383
I honestly think that he would make for a cool Dr. Strange or Thor villain.
>>86125810
the fuck is this shit?
>>86126240
Edgy tryhard 90s cartoon character from a show focused on looking disgusting and violent.
>>86115669
Hotline Miami with limited use on the fly mask switching would be a GOAT Moon Knight game.
Say hello to captain killdozer.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvin_Heemeyer
All he needs is a costume.
>>86126240
>>86125810

Maybe I'll give it a watch soon. I'm just now getting into toku and such.
>>86117888
>En
>Villain
>>86126478
DR. Ch@OS and the Realm of Chaos are equally cool
>>86126478
PLOW IT ALL UP!
>>86118802
i think he would be a great ground villain for kyle rayner
>>86120834
i haven´t seen anything of tenchi but i have that movie on vhs, should i watch it even if i don´t know the story?
>>86115957
>Rando
>Villain
But you play as the villain in Lisa. Villain =/= Antagonist.
>>86119099
A+ choice, anon. Young Toguro always intrigued me as a villain. Sensui and Sakyo wouldn't be bad options, either...
Though now that I'm crossing the cape comics/Yu Yu Hakusho streams, I'm seeing Yusuke as a less fucked up Jason Todd.
>>86125810
Except what made him interesting wasn't that he was a loose psychopath, he's just carnage or any other murderer
Megatorn making him a slave made him interesting. He was at someone's mercy, incredibly powerful and unforgiving, but had to direct his horrors as someone else wished.
Which reminds me, pic related would be a tops villain for namor or aqua man.
>>86116572
>Master Blaster
>villain
nah son.
>>86128125
Fucking this, aquaman needs more villains that look like sea beasts
>>86127398
Yep. It's all I've ever seen of the Tenchi franchise.
>>86126478
Maybe for DC.
Marvel already had Hijacker, whose entire gimmick was "drives a tank thing".
>>86120380
It'd be interesting to see Joseph gather a rep as a genius on Batman's level, when he's just REALLY good at bullshitting.
>>86120380
Madman
>>86119096
>>86119210
These mother fuckers right here
Replace the Wrecking Crew with THESE guys as the go-to mook team/jobbers for higher.
>>86119689
Hell bro that's khan
>>86119096
So Amazo?
yeahhh!!!
>an evil mastermind who isn't nearly as smart as he thinks he is, and is more of a threat to himself than the hero could ever be
SOunds like the recipe for a delightful second string villain to me
>>86129292
He would've made a perfect live action Mxyzptlk.
Hear me out
Big Boss would be great
>entire arsenal
>loyal-to-the-death army
>Enough nukes to send even Shangri-La into oblivion
>Fit as fuck
>Stealthier than the goddamn Batman
>The boss' will could also be interpreted by other people than Big Boss and Zero
>If he dies/kidnapped, there's still another one to deal with: Venom Snake
>>86129508
Are you implying he still couldn't?
>>86128986
You'd think so but the Hellraiser comics featuring him are garbage.
>>86116645
>Hugh Mungus
What did he mean by this?
The guy is fucking amazing. It took Ruri's dad 20 years to build Demonbane, but he built an exact replica with "Thanks Doc" color scheme in a weekend. Yes, he built a nearly omnipotent giant robot in a weekend. He also runs around with a talking book that looks like a loli witch and kills people with a magic guitar.
>>86129968
He totally could. But unless he makes an appearance on "Supergirl" or something, the odds are slim that they'd utilize him
>>86116177
He said nothing about sentai.
>>86130220
there are fungus among us
This guy might be a neat Dr Strange or Fate villain. Maybe even Constantine. I also thought that, since MHA is practically capeshit anyways, I would mention All For One
Durant was better than ths Kingpin
>>86131725
Does Darkman not qualify as cape?
>>86131824
Darkman isn't really a cape movie, it is a tragedy and a deconstruction of edgy heroes. It isn't really about the hero saving the day, it is about his struggle. It's cape shit in the same way Watchmen is.
>>86129141
Didn't they make the Wrecking Crew an homage to them in "Avengers: Disk Wars"?
>>86117888
Why is Dorohedoro so fucking good?
>>86126478
>killdozer
>not a goddamn hero
Killdozer made a tank just so he could say "fuck you" to the government for seriously fucking him over.
>>86117719
Not really, Rare wasn't really keen on fully fleshing things out in the backstory. Back when the NES version launched there were blurbs in game magazines that the Princess the Toads had to save had a secret dark side that tied her to the Dark Queen but nothing ever came of it.
>>86126210
He'd be a way better Arcade. An actual motivation on top of affable evil, only to reform after realizing his goal is unattainable? I'd read the shit out of that.
>>86115490
Toku is Scarfshit.
>>86118023
Technically the series started at Battle Fever J
>>86115397
>Armstrong vs Captain America
Oh my god it would be fucking amazing.
>>86116158
We can't make Toku threads on /co/. It's superheroes, but a different brand of hero.
>>86115957
If he's in his prime, he'd be one of the best capeshit heroes around
>>86115724
>Zedd v. Wondy
I'll buy it. Bonus if he's competing with Ares.
>>86136456
I don't think this UNGODLY AVATAR OF FUCK YOU would mesh well with the genre.
I want to see it regardless.
>>86116735
I've always said Jason would be a great Batman villain cause he's one of the few villains who would challenge Batman not just physically, but in terms of stealth as well.
>Batman tracks Jason down to a forest outside Gotham after he murdered several teenagers and injured Batgirl/Robin
>Batman starts tracking him, not realizing Jason has secret tunnels all over the place, traps set up, and is hunting Batman from the shadows as well
Would be awesome as fuck. Like Solomon Grundy but smarter.
>>86120462
Next to SPD it's the best storyline. And when it comes to DEEPEST LORE, Mystic does some serious digging.
Plus, just fantastic little references to every mythological tradition from Rome to Moscow and back to Britain. The King Arthur references are just ace.
>>86136590
When he wasn't a fuckbuddy to the abyss, he was one of the greatest people in the souls universe. The lore even says he was too pure for this world

>>86115383
Yeah I always loved Zed. He's just an intimating mother fucker.
>>86136826
YES
>>86121737
I don't remember that AT ALL but that was awesome.
I wonder, Evil Green Ranger versus White Ranger...
does el Zorro counts as capeshit?
>>86135467
cap doesn't stand a fucking chance
Raiden can cut through not only caps shitty shield, but also his thick plot armor, and if The Senator can stand up to that, then no way could cap.
Speaking of anime villains...
Herr Major would probably make a good Captain America villain.
The possibilities are endless
I think she would make a cool Justice league dark villain or maybe pair her up with huntress or Arrow.
>>86138083
Father was way better when he was stuck in a flask.

Make it happen, DC. Her or maybe Mary Marvel I guess.
>>86138268
>The Man Who Loves War vs. The Patriotic Soldier
Good damn philosophy angles, too. Cap's always been the guy who understands that war is sometimes necessary, but only fights because it's his duty as a soldier, and because is literally the most physically capable person to do so. Herr Major on the other hand loves war -propter se-, revels in it, breathes it like air, despite being physically bad at it.
His father is commissioner of Gotham City's police force.
What kind of powers can one acquire in a world of superheroes?
Surprised it took this long to post. His backstory is about as Schizophrenic as Hawk Man's.
>>86137745
>>86135467
Can his values stand against Armstrong? That is the real question.
>>86115669
But The Terrible Trio are already Batman villains

>>86129779
Plus, he works as a villain who fights other villains (The Patriots), in addition to the heroes.
Though, if you wanted you could add BB's other enemies would work as cape villains, too. Volgin, Gene, The entire Cobra Uniit, and so on... Hell, even the "normal" villains like Cunningham at least have a gimmick to them. He has his mechanical peg-leg and hates the CIA while still being loyal to the military.
But really, you could use just about any villain from the entirety of Metal Gear and they'd fit right it. C'mon, you can't tell me Dirty Duck isn't just a comic book villain name!
>>86129779
>>86142637
this reminds me that I had an idea for a Marvel Reboot that involved Frank Castle becoming his world's equivalent to Big Boss in the decades between Vietnam and shortly before the present day, with him and his army's actions contributing to shaping this version of the MU heavily before he dies mere hours before the Reed Richards and crew launch the rocket that leads to them becoming the Fantastic Four and starting the modern age of heroes
basically this does several things for me, it allows me to distance this setting from the real world(over the 40 something years Punisher's organization exists they basically wipe out every real world organized crime and terrorist group, and kill most of the real world dictators and corrupt regimes as well, leading to a vacuum that gets filled by Marvel's own villains and organizations, and also gets rid of the issue of the superheroes never being able to affect things), while also giving Frank Castle a useful role in the setting while allowing me to get rid of him before he can muck up the coming age of superheroes
>>86115383
Pic unrelated, OP?
>>86115415
>>86115574
yeah, but at 126 pounds? your talking gadot levels of anorexic with those numbers.

No, because Armstrong was right.

I'd enjoy the Major's interactions with the Red Skull. I mean we all know that the Skull has all but given up on his cause in favor of just mindless revenge against Captain America and the rest of the world and is just using it for recruitment. He's entirely insincere, as opposed to the Major, and they'd probably get on each other's nerves real fast.

Its been able to keep a pretty consistent quality for decades without getting canned so yeah you don't have to worry about it being shit. The show follows the manga well and is worth it just for the OPs and EDs so its really up to you.
It's basic structure is that it's a battle manga, so there's plenty of fights and it gets interesting later on when the Stands get introduced.
Basically any of the Cobras from MGS3.

Daleks before the time war have been destroyed by falls of about 20ft.
It's still dealing with effectively an army of Steven Hawkings in their own personal tanks/space fighters.

SMT Lucifer would make a pretty good villain for the Justice League as whole, really. He's got the power, the intelligence, and legions of demons to back him up, plus he's not a generic "Take over the world" villain, he believes in freedom, he just also believes in survival of the fittest. Even better if you have him oppose Darkseid, given that you'd have the conflict of "Well, on the one hand, Darkseid's a horrifically evil tyrant who causes many terrible pain. On the other hand, Lucifer's totally ruthless, and his plans would change humanity's fundamental nature in a way that would almost be as bad as Darkseid's tyranny." Combined with his politeness, his ability to take losses gracefully, and even having a sense of honor, sort of, he'd be an interesting enemy.

There are two souls in there, Diavolo and Doppio. Both have a stand:King Crimson, the dude, and Epitaph, the face on his face. King Crimson possesses a shit ton of pure strength though not a lot of speed or range. Its power is the ability to 'skip' ahead up to 10 seconds into the future. Only Diavolo can change path during this skipped time while everyone and thing else continues as if that time was normal. The difference is that there can be zero interaction what-so-ever between two individual objects. So if I were about to punch you then time was skipped past that point it would be like you were never punched. This would be useless without epitaph which allows Diavolo to 10 seconds into the future.
