Steven wouldn't give this answer, but the simple truth is people don't deserve. I feel there are plenty of series, movies, comics, shows etc that touch on this concept of one person's responsibility to the people. It's the whole superman thing of at a certain point when you choose to go out of your way to help people, they'll expect you to then blame you when you can't, simply because you have the power to do so. But even with that power you're limited, you're not omniscient nor omnipresent.

Hell I'm sure there will be an episode dealing with this idea, it may even be future boy zoltran showing steven using his power or something he has no one else does, to try and help as many people as he can and realizing he can't do it all and at a certain point people will turn on him when he can't.

Kinda unrelated, but what're the limits of Steven's healing powers? It doesn't seem like he can heal the Gem shard mutants, but he can "heal" inanimate objects.
