My favorite Nicktoon of the time, Aaahh Real Monsters, PPG, Ed Edd and Eddy, Courage, Johnny Bravo, Johnny Quest, Hey Arnold, and Dexter's Lab, Mighty Ducks, Swat Kats, Batman TAS, Batman Beyond, Superfriends, Superman TAS, SpongeBob(the older seasons, though I'll watch some recent episodes at times), Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, Legend of Tarzan, Jimmy Neutron, Catdog along with Animaniacs, Action Man(the CGI series), Freakazoid, Sheep in the Big City, Cow and Chicken, and Pup Named Schoolby Doo

I think maybe it's that there's less restrictions on cartoons these days.

I mean there's still a long way to go but it feels like cartoons these days are able to do more things that older shows would have to fight tooth and nail for (or find ways to imply).
