Is usual to hear or read "Rights should go back to Marvel", "Marvel will know what to do with the characters" but the unavoidable, factual, objective truth is that the best Marvel movies are movies NOT done by Marvel.

Why people insist on Marvel getting certain rights? Frankly I would insist on Marvel losing them so we can finally have a decent Thor movie for example.

The general public wants to see the characters interact with avengers characters/become part of the avengers.

>Hulk 2003

The one that looked bizarre and had Hulk Dogs?
>>
>>85779802
Sony's Spider-Man 2 was garbage, and Hulk 2003 was downright boring, OP. Sure, Ed Norton Hulk wasn't great, but I was at least able to finish it in one sitting.
>>
>>85779802
You're right but people are going to shitpost through the roof in this thread.
The new narrative is that Raimi and Singer have always been shit.
>>
"Hulk" was awful.

Most people, including MCU fans, still like Raimi's first two movies.

First off Hulk is shit. Second most of the people who made those movies have nothing to do with the franchises today, aside from singer who dropped the ball on Apocalypse.
>>
>>85779842
Actually the Norton Hulk was great.

(not true, by the way)

Apocalypse was the most "comic booky" X film yet.
>>

>Movies from 13+ years ago used as a defense
For fucksakes Blade is 18 years ago
This isn't a very strong case when we have had all those single Xmen Blade and Spidey films after your list.
>>
>>85779889
How is does that one person disprove him?

Fox needs to take DC's approach with the X-Men movies, except actually be good at it

Have Del Toro direct a movie about the Brood. Have The Raid guy direct a movie about X-Force. Shit like that.

The X-Men roster is diverse enough and does enough wild and different shit that it could sustain it's own "cinematic universe" but Fox is bad at their job (not as bad as Warners though) so they keep going back to the same 4 characters (Mystique, Xavier, Wolverine, and Magneto)
>>
>>85779910
What's your point? Are you saying there's never been a shitty X-men comic about Apocalypse? Just because it's closer to the source material doesn't mean it was good movie.

The fact that you chose those words and put quotation marks around them proves that even you don't actually believe that's necessarily a good thing

And the worst Marvel movies, the 2 Amazing Spider-Man, are not made by Marvel so it balances out.

And then there's Blade 3, X-Men 3, Spider-Man 3.

Using "objective" in your shitpostt
makes it blindingly obvious you are trolling. Try harder next time.

not as great as the first two=/=bad

I bet you claim that the DCEU is "objectively" shit.

Wrong. Dofp amd X2 were goid, but they had a few slow parts honestly. If you only count movies, then the last two can movies were better. If you're speaking of the whole mcu, then daredevil destroys x-men.

>Movies should be more faithful to the comic books
t. pleb who doesnt read comic books

If they read cape comics they would know that the least thing you want to do is making them faithful to the comics...because they are shit.
>>
>>85779840
The one that compared to the previous year's Star Wars movie the way Disney's The Black Hole compared to the original Star Wars.

>>85779900
Yeah, the way Betty's husband just literally rolled over the moment Bruce turned up and decided to piss off her lunatic father with that speech about his wife's boyfriend really nailed the Hulk story good.

>>85779802
>X2

Co-produced by Kevin Feige.

5 people wrote that movie. 3 story credits, 3 screenplay credits.

Zak Penn went on to write 2008's The Incredible Hulk.

David Hayter went on to write Watchmen.

Bryan Singer was credited for the story and directed on 2006's boring disaster Superman Returns, and also did the major legwork on 2006's X-Men 3, leaving so late in production that basically everything there is his design.

Michael Dougherty wrote the screenplay for Superman Returns with longtime writing partner Dan Harris.

>Spider-man 2

Executive produced by Kevin Feige.

Screen story:

Alfred Gough (Herbie Fully Loaded)
Miles Millar (Herbie Fully Loaded)
Michael Chabon (John Carter)

Screenplay by Alvin Sargent (Spider-Man 3, Amazing Spider-Man) who also wrote Other People's Money, which is excellent and you should watch if you haven't already.

>Blade

Sole writing credit for David Goyer (Batman v Superman, Man of Steel, The Big Guy Rises 4U, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Blade Trinity, The Crow: City of Angels) so I guess that's like hitting a dartboard with a blindfold on.
>Hulk

Executive producer Kevin Feige.

Story/screenplay by James Schamus - primarily a producer, including Brokeback Mountain.

Story by:

Michael France (Fantastic Four 2005, The Punisher 2004, Goldeneye)

John Turman (Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Ben 10: Alien Swarm)

Avi Arad is involved as a producer on all these movies, which shouldn't surprise you because he basically only produces superhero movies.

Y'all know who Kevin Feige and Avi Arad are, right?
>>
>>85784351
Are you trying to prove something, Mr. Indsustry armchair analyst?
>>
>>85784351
>X-Men 3, leaving so late in production that basically everything there is his design.
This is just untrue. There are lots of information about his X3 version which was nothing, nothing like the one we got.
>>
>>85784351
So whats your point? That Kevin Feige once had soul?
>>
>>85784557
This. I'm pretty sure the end of DOFP with everyone being alive and happy wasn't just a send off to the original cast but a big fuck you to X3 for killing Xavier Scott and Jean.
>>
>>85780010
>Blade 3
I don't understand what's everyone's problem with this is.

Ryan Reynolds made it at the very least very entertaining.
