Reminder that no capeshit film will NEVER EVER be as good as The Incredibles.
it's at least the best Fantastic Four movie we'll ever get
>Incredibles
>capes
you can say good, or really good
but please, no matter your personal opinion, stay away from the highly subjective "BEST"
i love this movie, but dont say its objectively the best, "my favorite" would be closer to the truth

are capes really that bad of an idea or is edna full of shit?
My Top 10 favourite Capeshit
1. Avengers?? (I can't actually sit through it just the end battle is my favourite scene in capeshit)
2. The Incredibles
3. The Winter Soldier
4. Man of Steel
5. Might Morphing Power Rangers
6. Hulk
7. DOFP (fuck x-men and fuck fox)
8. Spider-man 3
9. The Incredible Hulk
10. Civil SHIT
This is how to do a list, not pandering to anyone elses opinions

It doesn't really matter. Cape comics play by their own set of rules and logic and you can do whatever you want.
>>85778815
tell that to Spalshdown
oh wait
>>85778830
>Might Morphing Power Rangers
that firework ending always gets me
>>85778865
Get's you in a good way or in a "my sides" way?
>>85778920
a good way
the part of me that still believes in heroes
coincidentally i've been listening to this a lot today

i should rewatch this film
i haven't watched it since i was around 10ish, maybe earlier.
>>85778815
In reality, yes, capes make no sense at all.
Good ones are heavy, they create drag when running or flying, enemies can easily grab ahold of them, they can get tangled around you or stuck in something nearby such as a revolving door or jet engine.
>>85778727
>that's just, like, your opinion, man
What a pussy response. Does other people stating their opinions really hurt you that much?
>>85778830
>movies you hate are in your Top Ten
>>85778988
i recommend it
watched it last year as i was going through the entire pr medium, or whatever its called, and its as 90s and great as my childhood mind remembered it
its probably nostalgia but who cares
>>85778830
>Top 10 favourite
>last 5 are the ones you hated
retard
>>85778647
But The Incredibles by definition IS a capeshit film.
>>85779053
nostalgia is half the reason i want to watch it desu, thanks for the recommendation.
>>85779144
Iron Man 3 just stole the entire plot of the Incredibles
>>85779028
yeah but they're superheros. if they get caught in an engine, the engine wouldn't suck them in, the engine would either break or the cape would rip loose
>>85779177
Are you an actual retard?
>>85779177
Paranoid genius hero builds a shit-ton of powersuits, jams them in his basement, and starts a flame-war with terrorists?
I gotta watch the Incredibles again.
>>85778865
Is that a tornado? I don't think thats how tornadoes work
>>85779177
The Incredibles had a villain who turned war veterans into suicide bombers?
>>85778830
>Morphing
It's "Morphin'", there's no G
>>85778815
>>85778865
>>85779028
Depends what kind of hero you are. Take Batman for example. He uses his as a tool to glide and protect himself. Most heros though capes seem pretty useless for.
>>85778815
Don't mind me.
Just the best cape movie ever made
>>85780813
Sure about that?
>>85781700
What does that have to do with comic books?
>>85781720
It's a Superman movie
>>85781757
Is this a /tv/ meme?
I haven't seen it
>>85778815
Historically, capes were pretty exclusively worn as decorative clothing (or rainwear). They would do nothing but get in the way of someone trying to do anything other than look fancy.

Batman Returns
The Dark Knight
I actually liked Batman; under the red hood better. Sorry
>>85778647
I disagree
