Help me /co/, I'm looking for a Superman issue that I saw storytimed here a few months back. It involved him befriending this cop who treats him to a meal at a diner after some disaster, gives him pep talks on handling the responsibility of being Superman. I remember it being a really touching tale of Superman's human side, but I have no idea when it's from other than it being pre-New 52.
Also, general Superman being super thread.

>tfw Superman got there too late and those kids are scarred for life.

I'd imagine Superman would be the kinda guy to check up on while they're in therapy and shit.
One of the New 52's biggest failings is erasing Superman and Dick Grayson's relationship, in my opinion.

One of the Grayson Annuals had some really great Supes/Dick interaction. I recommend it.

It's by Austen, OP

I'll have to check it out, thanks!

>pre-New 52.
Oh, well that really fucking helps
You realize he's been around since the 30s, right?

Basically what he said >>85668456
It's an Austen issue, and not that good. In any case, here it is.

That's the one, thanks. I dunno, I enjoyed it, just because I'm a sucker for cheesy shit like that, and felt that it showcased that Superman is a fallible being, and that's part of what makes him great and relatable. Also my roommate and her girlfriend are total fucking Batfags, and I like shoving good Superman stories into their faces.

Story time?

I caught this in a storytime here a few months ago and I really enjoyed it.
