I only watched the intro and felt no interest in finishing it, but wakfu was so good I want to watch the movies and fully understand them.

While I enjoy Wakfu for its fun and light-hearted fantasy setting (and not-so light-hearted villains), I believe the Dofus series just does that better, while pushing the comfy to the max.

The flashback/story format also works really well for weaving recurring characters into Kerubim's life-story, without using them in every episode.
The lack of an overarching plot also makes it easier for the writers to really focus on the characters, which makes the "problem of the week" feel more meaningful to me than in Wakfu, where a ton of episodes are wasted on mostly travelling time and pointless conflict.

TL;DR Dofus is amazing if you like humorous fantasy driven by character interaction, but it's no epic.

I'm surprised Pinpin never fought a sacrier. That would have been a good match for how that class gets power from pain/damage. Be a fun party member too since they have first draw blood in a fist fight before they can drink alcohol.
