So when did DC start pushing them as their "trinity"? Whatever the fuck the context of that actually is.

>Whatever the fuck the context of that actually is.
"Trinity" generally means three of something. It's their three biggest characters.
>>85550772
Pretty much since the Silver Age... Try to keep up

>"Trinity" generally means three of something.
nooo waaaay you're kidding????
>>85550772
Needless swearing makes you look juvenile.
>>85550772
Oh about 70 years ago. I swear casuals ask the dumbest questions.
>>85550915
Well your tiny penis makes YOU look juvenile.
The trinity where the three characters who survived the end of the golden age with their own titles.
I don't know when the name got started, but it was around by 2003
>>85550772
>Whatever the fuck the context of that actually is.
Like 50 years before you were even born
>>85550831
>ask obvious question
>get obvious answer
>>85551736
is the only post that's attempted to answer OP's question. Without resorting to "ugh god it's just like, so obvious ugh". Like everyone else in this thread I am not sure when Batman/Superman/Wonder Woman became a paired trio, but unlike everyone else in this thread I'm not going to pretend it's existed for decades. I vaguely recall the Trinity being more of a fan moniker for DC's three most prominent characters, with DC Comics themselves adopting the moniker later.

>Without resorting to "ugh god it's just like, so obvious ugh".
Where do you think you are, man?
>>85550772
A long time before Tony Stark was th face of Avengers
>>85550772
2004
Infinite Crisis
It's also when they ruined Wonder Woman by making her Warrior Woman
>>85551928
>Like everyone else in this thread I am not sure when Batman/Superman/Wonder Woman became a paired trio,
But people gave you answers you dumbass. It has been a thing since AT THE VERY LEAST the silver age and some can argue it was a thing in the golden age. You guys are just casuals thinking this is new
>>85552038
I think there's less difference than you're guessing
>>85550772
Decades ago. Congrats on being dumb.
>>85552095
They made claims but it's nothing but assumptions. Batman and Superman have always been tied thanks to the Worlds Finest title but Wonder Woman was NEVER apart of that. During the Silver Age the three were hardly even in the Justice League at the same time (Batman and Superman took a backseat during the early days, Wonder Woman left during that weird kung-fu period of her comics).
>>85552183
>Hulk center
>Thor speaking
>big dumb gold Iron Man just there
Yep Iron Man has been an A-Lister since the veey beginning
They're the three most popular DC characters and they all premiered around the same time in the late 30s
>>85552232
>Wonder Woman left during that weird kung-fu period of her comics
That was in the bronze age, casual
>>85552635
Flash/GL > Wonder Woman desu
>>85552665
Not in mass popularity.
>>85552598
Hulk was the only Avenger that was an A-lister and he was a Avenger for like 3 issues before he got kicked off.
>>85552682
I'd say Flash has eclipsed WW in recent years, for good reason. I like her comics but she doesn't have any real iconic stories unlike the rest of the core JLA members
>>85552682
meh, Green Lantern was pretty huge during Blackest Knight, should have pulled the trigger and given him a team book with Batman.
Also, Wonder Woman has never had a GREAT run she really doesn't deserve the spot
Though it's no more forced that Marvels Cap/Ironman duo
Batman/Superman works not just because of their popularity but because Batman is exceptionally smart and Superman is exceptionally strong
>>85550915
Owww shit nigga u jot rekt!>>85550967
>>85552742
>>85552782
Among fans, even "casual" fans, sure.
But among the general public, she's number 4/5 over all and number 3/4 at DC (Depending on if you count Robin with Batman or not)
>>85552876
Wonder Woman is a part of pop culture not unlike Flash and Aquaman, people generally know you mean
Wonder Woman - strong woman
Flash - speed
