Hardcover vs Paperback!
Which is better /co/? Why aren't all books available in both formats?

I usually go hardcover because they're usually more durable and look great on a bookshelf, but reading softcover just feels right. I think it's the way that the pages and cover flow so smoothly when you flip through them. The only reason that I go hardcover is because I'm a mongoloid when it comes to preserving shit and bent corners and covers irk me.

I feel ya. I've been looking into replacing stuff with hardcovers, but man, I think I may have developed autism about it, because mixing hardcovers/paperbacks on the shelfs seems to irk me.
I prefer paperback. A lot of books don't get hardcover and I don't like having a mix of the two. Being cheaper is a nice bonus. I don't have a problem with omnis because I keep them on a different shelf and OGNs like Earth One I get in hardcover, but if the only way I can't get two volumes of something I want it to go with one hard and one soft or pay a significantly higher price for one of them I'll just pass it up and download the run instead.

Tablet
hardcover is nice but really overated. Any hard covers I essentially regret only because the money I saved couldve gone to othe paperbacks

I feel you. Organizing in General is just a bitch. I have to organize in alphabetical order going by subject matter, then by hardcover to soft, size, numeration, and so on or I just get restless.
Honestly, both are shit formats (for trades) entirely because modern comics are so spread-heavy, yet spreads look like shit in trades.
But regardless, paperback is superior with comics. Hardcover is superior with /lit/ stuff.
Depends on the quality of the binding and the overall size
I don't buy trades smaller than 6 issues at all unless it is a mini

Hardcover for books with over 400 pages, paperback for everything else.
I can't believe they shoehorned digital in to the movie for the final fight and why did Hardcover and Paperback's paper have the same name?

I feel like reverse statement is more true.
Spider-man JMS Ultimate Collection feels right at fucking home as paperback, while more pages hardcover has, more prone it is to getting damaged.
