That said, you don't have to spoil any major twists to give a hint about an episode's opening and set it apart from all the other episodes, which the average viewer likely won't remember by number/title. Plus, it's nice to see a show's producers/sponsors put an ounce of effort into their official episode summary; last I checked, like 90% of Spongebob episodes were "summarized" as "a sponge lives in the bottom of the sea."

I can get that, but I think Rick and Morty's descriptions actually do a good job of including enough info to jog the memories of people who had already seen it, while keeping it vague enough to not spoil anything for the initial viewer, a lot of R&M episodes hit harder when first timers have no idea what they're about to see
