You can't have it both ways.
Either the Gems are female and therefore all the major villains and heinous acts are feminine, or the Gems are asexual aliens and their acts have no basis on humans.

No matter how you slice it, you can't say that SU is some feminist fantasy.

Truth be told, I think SU is truly feminist. In the 2nd Wave type, not the corrupt 3rd Wave type. Women have all the faults of men. They're not purer. They're not better. They rape, they kill, they hurt people.
Even though the relative over-abundance of "female" character makes it seem like it's a Tumblr dream, it really doesn't shy away from having women be bad people.

The consequence she faces is realizing how much danger she put her friends in due to her selfishness. Her redemption is acknowledging her flaws and offering Dipper a chance to have his internship thing with Ford.

It would be extremely out of character for Dipper to ignore Mabel's attempt to reconcile their feud during a time of greater conflict. One of the core elements of their relationship is that they stand more firmly together when dealing with something unfamiliar or intimidating. It's the same characteristic that prompted Mabel to throw a shitfit when Dipper considered branching out with Ford.

And it's true that dancing is basically foreplay or flirting, which segues into fusion. But there's still a clear distinction.

Bad things males have done in SU:
-Greg lied about the healing so he could spend time with his son
-Marty hit it and quit it with Vidalia, but returned to pay a debt to Greg and (sort-of) connect with his son SC, at least a little bit.
-Lars is just an asshole likely due to not having a strong father figure like Steven has with Greg or SC has with Yellowtail.
-Kevin is a flirtatious dick who flirts because he finds it funny. He's just a dick, ignore him and he loses all his power.

Bad things females have done in SU:
-The Gem War, including but not limited to shattering various gems, corruption nuke, oppressive social roles, prohibiting free expression, and nearly killing the Earth.
-The Cluster and all the other forced fusion experiments; which essentially are painfully stitched together pieces of corpse's psyches crying out in pain and trying to become whole again.
-Pearl lying to Garnet to get fusion, basically sex under false pretenses, which counts as rape in some parts of the world.
-Ruby and Sapphire not being able to keep it in their pants for an hour until the Ruby Squad left.
-Lapis stealing the ocean, breaking Greg's van and leg, abusing Jasper for months on end, and generally being a wet blanket
-Jasper and the Ruby squad (mainly Eyeball) attempting to shatter Steven a few times, as well as Jasper's corrupted army plus nearly shattering Amethyst.
-Rose Quartz shattering PD as well as bubbling Bismuth without telling the CGs about it.
