Not at all. How much do you think marketing campaigns cost? TV spots alone can run into the tens of millions of dollars, getting a single ad in for a prime slot (say, during a major sporting event) can cost millions, but even a "normal" ad spot is still thousands per. Then you've got to consider all the other advertising they do - billboards, posters, press events, mass transit livery (no idea if they've done that on this film, but it's a thing). It adds up to an awful lot of money spent to advertise the movie. Money that's expected to be recouped by the box office take. Which the distributor only gets part of, and then still has to divvy up to the production studios and any parties receiving "points" on gross. And that's why they say a movie has to make three times its budget to start actually making money.

Survivors plus Poison Ivy and Lex Luthor with his Armor.

The enemy will be Vandal Savage with the Spear of Destiny keeping all of the heroes at bay only letting the villains get in close.

Looking back on it Luthor would have killed it in this movie with his goofy ass attitude and murderous dark side. He was on the JLA so this can work.

I understand wanting Lex in the movie but there's no way it'll happen.

Here's what the sequel fucking needs: less comedic Will Smith, more Boomerang as the comedic lead (he could be a breakout character if they let him), no big stupid END OF DA WORELD plot, more espionage/Ocean's Eleven kind of shit.

Nightshade and Bronze Tiger would be great additions. I don't want to have too many new characters because I think they have solid material to work with with Croc and Flag and Katana that went fairly unexplored already.

For cannon fodder, maybe throw in some crummy dipshits like King Shark, Copperhead, Multiplex, or Plastique, that's right I said it, come fucking fight me.

Deathstroke would be a great antagonist. Also I know nobody wants more Batman shit in this but the relationship between Waller/the Squad and Batman is so well-done in the Ostrander comics, I'd love to see at least a little of that.

It's a natural fit for a franchise. If you look at the data we have, it seems the target audience (teens and young adults) are pretty into it but everyone older is not. Whereas MoS and BvS kind of don't appeal to anyone. With some adjustments to the formula to just give up on making it a "family-friendly romp" or whatever Marvel shit they were trying to do in the editing room, it could be a big hit with their target demographic, who buy shittons of merch.

I'd really like it if they didn't go with the Marvel method of making each movie appeal to everyone, and let their films stand apart.
