Who's watched the little prince I'm enjoying it so far but I'm ready to be punched in the gut by it.

Me.
The entire third act was a fucking disaster.

The ending was a bit of a mess, and I think they missed the point of some of the men on the planets.
I'm gonna watch it and probably rate it high just so Netflix does more animated stuff.

Netflix just picked up the corpse. They were supposed to release it in theaters back in march.
Could Rachel McAdams possibly give less of a shit?
This is why you hire actual voice actors.

It was kind of rough but I got a little choked up at the last scene in the hospital.
I cried when she was chasing the ambulance and when she told the old guy off for not knowing of the little prince was alive or some shit
also some part in the third act but that whole third act was when the movie got worse. still not too bad though

Yeah the third act was kind of a mess. I wanted them to tie the parts of the book into the new bits in a meaningful way but it really felt like they kind of slapped a generic family movie on top of a real masterpiece. It was never bad and overall it was a good movie but there were some parts that really pulled punches and that's disappointing.

Rachel McAdams was fine. Paul Rudd was the one that really killed it for me. He wasn't a good fit at all. His character (just the older version mind you) could have been taken out of the movie and it would have been a lot better.
