When I saw the promos, I didn't want Bismuth to stick around, I hate her design, and knew she'd be revealed to be an antagonist of some sort. However:

I unexpectedly ended up loving her, and I'm deeply saddened the resident communist gem got shelved like that for a liberal "don't fight hate with hate, murdering oppressors is wrong uwu" moral even if that's what every kid's show teaches. Give her back.

Uzo Aduba did a fantastic job, as well. I think she's gave easily one of the best performances of SU in a single episode.

So what's their plan with Bismuth? Like I feel as if they could at least try talking to her as a group, since she respects Pearl and Garnet, and Peridot can help point out the flaws in Bismuth's ideology, and also because she can't beat all of them at once.

I love Steven Universe. It's made my life a lot better since I started watching it.

I don't have a waifu, I don't hate any character, I don't hate any episodes. I enjoy the show for the lovable characters this show has to offer and the story is great too. I love how nice Steven is and how great he is in resolving problems.

The fact that all these leaks appear, I don't mind at all. It gets me even more hyped. That doesn't mean I'm not watching them life when Dingo leaks it. I'll gladly watch any episode live, leaked or not.

Weather you consider this post faggy or not, this is my view on everything. I hope you have the same perspective as me.

While I enjoy all characters equally, I love Steven, Pearl and Peridot the most

I just saw the episode and I have to say that the issue is Bismuth isn't wrong. But neither is Rose. Their end goal match: the end of the war between the rebellion and homeworld. But their ideology of how they want to end it clashes. Rose wants it to end peacefully (at least, that's how I interpret it, correct me if I'm wrong please), but Bismuth wants to shatter them all to win. At the end of the day, my question is, who is more right?

Also, it's funny seeing tumblr salty. Always makes my day better.

Seeing how brutal, twisted, and evil homeworld is and what they're willing to do to win a war, why is wrong to shatter them in battle? Steven is destined to be the leader of the Crystal Gems.
His conception was for this purpose, and Rose ensured that he would be groomed for it after her death.
Greg doing all that king stuff on birthdays, Lion (the king of the jungle) guiding Steven, etc.
Garnet, Pearl and now Amethyst understand this. Under Stevens leadership, they have converted several powerful enemies and an entire cluster super weapon.

Meanwhile, less then a day after Bismuth is released she demands that Steven do what she wants, because she is "more of a Crystal Gem than he is". Then she tries to kill him.
Bismuth is wrong, obviously. Steven is the embodiment of what a Crystal Gem should be, as Rose intended.

This is why Rose imprisoned Bismuth and didn't tell the others. Not because Bismuth betrayed and attacked her, but because Bismuth would also betray Steven. Rose knew that after her death Bismuth would undo all her work. She would convince the CGs to start shattering gems, and raise Steven to be violent and vengeful.
She would deny Steven his birthright and jeopardize everything, so she had to be neutralized.

Rose was. It's not as if her wanting to take a less violent approach to fighting HW was unsuccessful, otherwise HW wouldn't have sacrificed a major chunk of their army when they nuked the Earth with the corruption bomb. I don't think any of the CGs will argue that they won the war without shattering ANY Gems, but all Rose wanted was to win without being needlessly violent about it.

That's what the Breaking Point was: needless. All it would've done was cause the Diamonds to start bombing sooner rather than later, plus feed more shards to the cluster.

That and the fact that it would be a waste of a revolution if you're murdering the same people you've come to liberate in the first place.
