Why, I do believe it's time for some early Silver Age!
But enough about me, how was your day?
Got some more Kirby for you - interestingly, the scan I have only has this story, not the cover story. Shame, really.
Also, I've got to skip quite a few issues, because not even the Digital Comics Museum has scans.
Incidentally, this is the last issue of Young Love that Kirby drew for... and the cover has nothing to do with any of the stories inside.
Hope you like old-timey racism, because I've got a whole issue of it for you!

I have a smile on my face and I'm not quite sure why... Thanks, Anon!
That's enough of the Silver Age for today...

For reference, $1.25 in 1956 would be roughly $11 today.
... Louis Armstrong, who provided music for several Betty Boop cartoons, was born 115 years ago today...
... Helen Kane, who was one of the inspirations for Betty Boop, was born 112 years ago...
... Martin Jarvis is 75...
... Don S. Davis would've been 74...
... Richard Belzer is 72...
... Billy Bob Thornton is 61...
... Daniel Dae Kim is 48...
... John August, who wrote the screenplays for Titan A.E., Corpse Bride and Frankenweenie, is 46...
... Don DaGradi, who wrote the screenplays for Lady & The Tramp, Peter Pan and Mary Poppins (amongst many, many others) died 25 years ago today...
... and Lorenzo Music died fifteen years ago.
Well, I'm done for today. I'll be back tomorrow, knock on wood, to give you some more Silver Age silliness, as well as the usual stuff.
