Screwing a comic creator over.
So an artist in a current title revealed a huge upcoming secret to a guy I know (guy A). He ordered several copies of the upcoming issue and told the owner of my LCS (guy B) the secret. guy A claims to have seen the splash page, as well as a characters reaction
as much as I should keep quiet, I hate guy A. He's a bottom feeding low-life that befriends artists to make himself seem important. He constantly screws over guy B with orders and trades that he never picks up.
So...should I rat out the secret to bleeding cool? If so, how would I do that? Or should I leave it alone and watch guy A sell signed copies of the issue on eBay for a profit.
It don't matter.
>>85118339
It would still screw over the owner of the LCS who ordered more copies too (but not for a profit, just extra for customers)
>>85118301
>If so, how would I do that?
Just post it on /co/. Rich will be around.

Be creative, leave something for us. Make every first letter of every sentence you type spell R-I-C-H-T-H-E-L-E-E-C-H or something, ask him to quote you directly
>>85118435
How would it screw them over? They have more stock for a title that's going to be in even more demand.
Just freaking post it, you freaking freak.
>>85118503
Will they use my email? I don't want it getting back to me.
>>85118673
Do you expect them to publish some unverified bullshit from some random fucker on the Internet?
Pffthahaha you'll be fine just use a fake.
>>85118581
Its the death of a semi major DC character.
>>85118673
Set something up, you're on the fucking internet
wait how would this fuck over guy A??
>>85118730
That's it? That happens every fucking three months.
>>85118782
It's he first time he's dying. It's going to be a big splash page.
>>85118816
so why don't you just say who it is
It's Tim Drake, but his death is faked in the story
>>85118910
Ugh, another Robin? That's bullshit.
>>85118910
Figured it would be that, will people really lose their shit over this? Though, kudos to DC for not revealing it in some stupid press release
>>85119012
They want the "hail Hydra" excitement without the death threats. If people don't know in advance, they won't be able to order more copies and fight for the issue.
>>85118720
>Do you expect them to publish some unverified bullshit from some random fucker on the Internet?
It's Bleeding Cool, so yes.
>>85119054
I know the issue number if people feel like spreading it around/making sure they get a copy.
>>85118730
Swear to god if it's another fucking bat family death at least tell me if it is?
>>85118301
Just keep it a secret Anon it'll really piss of people there even if it's a retarded plot twist
>>85119012
If it were pre 52 Tim, yes, people would freak
People are still trying to care about Tim again and 5 months in a crossover and a storyline that's not his isn't enough to cut it
I thought it was something more important, like the whole "an A-list writer didn't credited an artist in the book cover" deal that Seal Murphy was tweeting last week
Just post it anonymously to /co/ in full detail under the name "Scanbro".
Rich ALWAYS steals from Scanbro.
>>85120277
What was that about?
>>85120392
Exactly what I posted, some big writer didn't give credit to an artist, dunno who tho, he never gave the name of this writer.
>>85120493
Oh i was hoping the writer got named
>>85118720
>Rich "What's /co/ got for me today?" Johnston's website
Yes
>>85120585
If it is of any use this writer worked with Capullo years ago.
>>85120493
What's Franc Franc have to say about it?
>>85121028
>>85120493
>>85120647
Grant Morrison
Jeevan Kang is the artist on this book but his name isn't on the cover, and Morrison worked with Capullo on Spawn years ago.
>>85121460
The question is, is it even Morrison's fault?
Just look at the cover to this Graphic India book. It doesn't even credit the writer.
>>85121572
Another one without the writer credited, much less the artist.
Meanwhile, the 18 Days books are also credited to Morrison, which implies that GI is more or less banking on Morrison's name to get the book out there.
>>85121460
>>85121572
>>85121601
DESIGNATED
Alternatively, here's a Graphic India book credited to both Chuck Dixon and Graham Nolan.
So GI is capable of crediting people; they just don't do it always. That smells of incompetence.
>>85118910
Haven't we known this for, like, a week or two now?
>>85121831
No, people were thinking that Batman Beyond Tim was the dead one
If they're seriously bitching about >>85121460 then what the fuck, Graphic India's THING is putting "CREATED BY X HUGE NAME" to draw in people who buy on name recognition alone.
This is the exact opposite of a problem, they are doing this on purpose.
Oh gosh look Stan Lee's up to his old tricks not crediting writers and artists!
He's spitting on Ditko and pissing on the grave of Kirby!
>>85124516
>>85124390
Not the poster but isn't Graphic India some elaborate Deepak Chopra scam?
>>85124390
>This is the exact opposite of a problem, they are doing this on purpose.
Them doing it on purpose doesn't do anything to negate how slimy it is to not credit an artist.
