Can I talk about this here /CO/?
I take this quiz every so often, and more often than not, the result is Doctor Doom.
It took me a while to learn respect for this character. In my head as a child and teenager Doom was guy that would boast a lot and then get his ass handed to him, or do something stupid and lose. But I've learned that's not really the case. He would always come close to achieving his goal, just to misstep and falter. Other times he would have achieved his goal, and forfeit simply because it was unsatisfactory.
Another thing is, for lack of a better term, Doomfagging. I didn't understand it until I looked into it. Doom isn't a modern superhero, but he still could be seen as hero. Doom could be seen as a classical type of hero, the conquering hero. He came back to his homeland of Latveria and took it form its hated ruler only to reign over it instead. And this might me just be the tumblrite in me but when I think of Doctor Doom I see a man that is by his very nature mutlicultural. He is a gypsi, and as such is more than likely a man of multiethnic ancestry. He has the word Von in his name, a german word often read in the names of nobility. Lavteria, his home and birthplace is in the Balkans. He educated himself in his youth, but his adult education was in the United States. He was trained by and eventually lead a hidden order of Tibetan monks. He was judged favorable by the African God of the Wakandan People for god's sake. What else needs to be said?
He created a world and became a god

He was a god twice. He found it beneath him the first time. The second time contained one of his few moments of humility. Arrogant as a man, humble as a god. What sense does that make?
Did someone say gypsy?

Yes, yes I did. Got a problem with that?
Anyway I wanted to ask the question if it was a good thing that I am frequently compared to the greatest super villain?
