There's like, no way their construct weapons are something that was forged by Bismuth.
For one, they appear and disappear at will, hence everyone assuming they're constructs from the gems rather than something being pulled out of gem hammerspace like Pearl does at times.
Secondly, they can pull out MULTIPLES of their weapon, with Amethyst having two whips when fighting Pearl or Pearl pulling two spears to fight the water clones.

I think we're just making assumptions off of small, out of context scenes just like Matt didn't want us to. We need to see the full context for this shit.

Also, Amethyst didn't have an upgraded whip apparently. I don't know how I never noticed it, but she's had a split tip whip this whole time it seems.
