In preperation for the new suicide squad movie im reading through the new 32 Suicide Squad arc for the first time vol 1-5 in volume 4 i think it may be issue 23.2 there is an (imo) atrocious Harley story where she [/spoiler]blows up a bunch of kidswhich kind of ruined her character for me. Pic related.
A little after that in what i think is issue 26 waller calls deadshot to bring him and harley in on a mission, Deadshot then says that they were just finishing the mission Wallet sent them on, they appear to be in the same place as they were in issue 23.2.
My question is, what was the mission, did waller really put Harley up to that? If so, for what possible purpose?
