I would be surprised if a central aspect of the story in some future arc isn't Steven learning that everything isn't morally black and white. Maybe they're winding up to that right now, looking at some of the episodes we've had in the past two weeks.

The one place I really don't agree with this post is in the Ronaldo scenario. Him breaking up with his gf was a joke. Him even actually having a gf was a joke in the episode. I still hope they make up, though. Maybe we'll see them in a crowd scene standing next to each other.

I think my big issue with this episode is that Lapis's blame felt like it got disregarded in the end. Steven didn't think about it, and she's happy at the end as if just punching away Jasper was enough.

I completely agree in the sense that Steven is an emotionally manipulative individual and this is only made worse due to the fact that Steven is not in anyway emotionally mature.

Steven freely uses and manipulates the individuals around him as he sees fit and justifies through thinking it's "for the best" and he entirely does this on an emotional basis that he himself doesn't understand.

And everyone around Steven accepts, allows and enables the little shit to do this because he's got everyone under his little finger: people LIKE steven, they like him a LOT, because he's "funny" and "nice", but really that's just him being manipulative.

One of the first things Steven did when he was in Lars body was to shoehorn his own feelings into Lars without a second thought about Lars actually wanted or even wants... Keep in mind that Lars is a CUNT, but that isn't really the point: Steven doesn't really "care" about Lars wants, steven cares about his own "narrative".

There's also the fact that Steven was willing to risk the entire worlds destruction to help the cluster, but he isn't willing to give jasper a second chance because she "hurt lapis' feelings".
