Ask any random motherfucker on the street about Batman comics and there's a significant non-zero chance they'll name TKJ, TDKR or at least the Knightfall run in content, if not in actual name. I've only ever seen this Joker comic mentioned here.

It makes more sense for Joker to NOT have raped Barbara.

The goal was to hurt her dad, not her. Actually raping her wouldn't have done any more damage to Jim than just taking the nude photos and letting Gordon's imagination run wild. And he didn't know that Barbara was Batgirl so it wasn't a way to stick it hue to Batman, either.

The only way you could think he actually raped her is if you think he just did it for shits and giggles even though he has no history or sexual violence.
