My favorite current ongoing series. Last storyline was pretty meh but the current one has Wagner back on script and Ezquerra on art and everything is right in the world.
New Scarlet Traces is awesome too.

Delano's good and deserves a lot of credit for creating the general mood and themes that define Hellblazer but for me his writing was a little too dry and plodding. Plus I'm a huge Ennisfag and his run has some of my favorite cons so that takes the top spot for me.

Vril Dox II, true fans know that Brainiac 2 was his slave name.
Brainiac 8 is a fucking beeyatch who doesnt struggle with morals, just acts like a brat and whines when people get pissed off about him being shitty.
Dox however legitimately wants to do the right thing, however being a total sociopath direct clone of Brainiac 1 who was raised by him to be a slave lab assistant, he has issues being a good person while doing the right thing simultaneously.

Nah, I like him a lot but he's a bit dry in his long form stories. His single issues are among the best, but Ennis also has the best single (pic related). He's basically a slightly worse Moore, whereas Ennis and Carey add their own distinctive element (Ennis the comdey and Carey the insane plots and twists). I think had he not been the one to start the title he also would have fared better, and I think he laid down a great foundation that allowed Ennis and Carey to be better
