It's conspicuous for shows that are especially graphic.

While it's not a cartoon Sons of Anarchy would be immensely improved if they didn't have to conform to network censors. They're life long gangsters who kill people and sell drugs & guns for a living but they can't say "fuck" cause that's too naughty.
