What is this about?

Silver Age Superman send off
Easily Grant Morrison's Animal Man but Waid's Flash (Wally) is a close second. Man, post-crisis is filled with gems.

Is there any rape in it?

No, but there is a prostitute.

People on this board often use the term 'comfy'. I'm not a fan of it but I guess I will use it to describe this.
If I need a story and nothing is getting my interest I can alwAys pick up an Ennis hit a. Issue. They're comfortable. Just good fucking comic book stories. Any issue just grab one and it's a good time. A little funny, a little sad, a lot of heart and gristle.
>Literally the worst of Moore's three attempts to bury silver age Supes
Wow. That's some real bad taste you've got.

But I thought Alan Moore wrote it

The art throughout this book, especially the final battle, is awe-inspiring.
Also the concept of the League itself is just fantastic

Having recently storytimed both (>>84438825), I liked "Whatever Happened ..." better. "For the Man" is a good concept but poorly executed -- Moore should have either removed the weird political shit in it (like the Kryptonian KKK?) or made it clearer that Superman was injecting these elements as a neurological defense.
"Whatever Happened ..." is maybe too violent for its subject, but it serves it's purpose as a weird story that would be talked about years later, as the final written moments of Pre-Crisis Superman's life.

You should spend more time reading actual comics and less time reading memes about comics.
Year 100

Stop liking what I don't like.

That's my favorite comic story ever. Superman's reaction at seeingthe recently deceased Supergirlis heartbreaking and the big villain reveal is awesome. Plus the fact that it's the last Silver *and* Bronze Age Superman story.
