OH MY GOD YES
THANK YOU GOD, FIRST THOSE SHITTY CHIPMUNKS MOVIES AND NOW THIS! FINALLY KIDS ARE GETTING SOME TASTE
>>84801687
Uh.. Ice Age movies never do good domestically, they always make a shit ton of money from spics.
Doesn't Ice Age movies make more money in Internationals Theatres?
>>84801734
I'll never understand why my old Spanish teacher had such an obsession for the first movie.
>>84801687
Don't forget Ballbusters flopping harder than pancake titties.
>>84801734
Spic here can confirm. The studio went as far as to make a local dub rather that the more normal International dub
>>84801734
As far as I know they at the very least make back their budgets.
But yeah, I saw this coming.
Was the franchise always like this or have I just not been paying attention
>>84801734
I believe you mean from China. China fucking loves the Ice Age movies for some reason and China is $$$
>>84801840
>Having the most shitty chilean youtuber to voice a character of your movie
Fox and Viacom have shit on their minds
>>84801982
Yeah. I never understood why they did that.
>>84801687
>Ghostbusters still hasn't made back its budget
>and probably never will
sexist manbabies win once again
>>84802164
How would manbabies stop the general populace?
>>84802214that's the joke
>>84801687
>Ice Age Production Budget: $105 million, first week Worldwide: $199,995,170
>Ghostbusters Production Budget: $144 million, Worldwide second week: $122,856,739
>Ice age is a 'bomb'.
>People insist GB isn't doing badly
Math is fucking weird.
>>84801687
There are FIVE fucking Ice Age movies now?
>>84801687
What in heck is Lights Out
>>84803184
Horror movie
>>84803212
Is it any good
Is it spook
>>84803254
just got back, it was fucking abysmal. Only see it with friends if you like making fun of shitty horror flicks
>>84802690
Because Ghostbusters' success is measured in merchandising and overseas dollars it will pull in. The US isn't the only market for movies. Thanks to Ghostbusters, Hollywood has no defense for not making a female Green Lantern headline the new Green Lantern reboot, or introduce a new female Captain America now that Cap's on the run from the Avengers.

I'm glad I saw Absolutely Fabulous
>>84801734
Well, first one did well enough domestically. After that though, yeah.
>>84803374
You're a pro, I believed you for a good minute or two.
>>84803374
Isn't one of the current Green Lantern comics about a Hispanic woman being GL, and the other a Muslim with a gun?
>>84801687
How is it possible that I had no idea that there's a new Star Trek movie?
>>84803688
They are in the same book, the other book is Hal leading the GLC
>>84801782
>>84801840
Clearly there's a latino edge to the movies.
>Manny
>Diego
>Sid is voiced by John Leguizamo
>Humans clearly mexicans
Say what you will but Latinos actually show up to support what's marketed to them.
>>84803738
Because they all look the same
I had no idea there was a new Ice Age movie so close to coming out. You saw very little advertising for it.
>>84803749
I grew up with Kyle Rayner and Hal Jordan coming back just bores me. I only enjoyed him in Kingdom Come.
>>84803826
>Humans clearly mexicans
They're neanderthals, you fucking neanderthal
>>84801917
I think Josh Peck was in the third or fourth one.
>>84803826
>>Sid is voiced by John Leguizamo
Nobody cares about that because nobody knows him around these parts. It's all about the dub
>>84803738
Because actual Star Trek fans give no shits about Abrams, absolute braindead pleb version of it.
Rodenberry must be rolling in his grave.
Hoe's Fembusters do? Is it a flop yet?
>>84804180
yes
>>84804110
This one has no connection to Abrams, though
>>84803184
The sequel to Inside Out.
>>84804222
Good...good...
>>84803984
What's the difference?
>>84804282
And it shows. The pacing is very monotonous; not that the movie isn't exciting, but every scene and shot feels like it's all happening at the same speed. The lack of lens flare seriously impacts how sleek the new movie feels; unlike Abrams movies, where everything is shiny and chrome, the new one is much more understated and pretty fucking generic in terms of visual design. It literally copies GotG in the climax, down to the amorphous CGI shield.
>>84804060
He plays one of the possum brothers, so he's been in the last 4.
it was alright, you guys need to stop overreact about every thing
>>84804449
Abuelo santiago?
>>84803971
That wasn't Hal
>>84804449
You fags will argue about anything.prove me wrong
>>84804935
I'm just glad that he's in there and that we're out here...
>>84801734
>>84801840
You know, that might explain why there were so many spanish people when I saw it. Like, three fucking families, or just one big one were in the theater, and they were loud as hell.
>>84804971
and that he's the sheriff
>>84804686
I mean, you're right, but it was just painfully alright.
Literally just got back from watching it, and it never once felt like a great movie, or even a good movie. It was serviceable, but only so, which is fine since everyone else seemed to love every moment of it.
>>84804686
I think alright is being generous.
It was boring, confusing and the humor was super dry.
>>84803286
>>84803254
Honestly I thought the light from the gun going off was pretty neat. The idea behind the monster was stupid though. Based boyfriend using his headlights to make it disappear and go get help like every horror movie should have a character doing.
There was an older black couple sitting in front of me and they were hilarious screaming aw hell no and the man getting scared enough to shout fuck when the monster flashed on screen.
>>84803826
Ice Age and Rio are direct by a Brazilian Hack called Carlos Saldanha. Since our country has nothing to be proud, It is forbidden to speak ill of him here. He is a middcle class fuck who gained a promotion in a mediocre american 3D animation studio, then he was fired several times and almost led his family to starve until someone make his stupid movies. Now he is a national example of overcoming and bravery.
>>84805129
confusing? how did they get on the spaceship?
>>84803738
They didn't advertise it very much
>>84801687
>Ice age bombs
It's already made 178 mil overseas.
>>84804935
>>84805004
And that we're out here
>>84805650
And we're in there
>>84805779
What I wanna know is
WHERE'S THE CAVEMAN
>>84804935
It's high noon
>>84801734
>>84801782
>>84801840
This kind of thing is so interesting to me. Like why the fuck do spics just LOVE Ice Age? What makes different cultures latch onto completely different American franchises?
>>84808457
A big factor is the dub. The dub can either destroy or make successful a franchise
>>84801812
The Nut Job?
>>84801687
The only good Ice Age movie was the first one. The other ones sucked
>>84801982
Yeah, the son of the dinosaur family was a youtuber in the Portuguese dub too, it was really, REALLY bad.
>>84802893
They're already planning a sixth one.
>>84803826
No one in spicland watch the original version of the film, dumbfuck.
>>84802893
We wrote 15.
>>84801768
Yes.
>>84804104
>Nobody cares about Leguizamo
Say that to this masterpiece.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDle00tZJFE
>>84805251
I thought they would capitalize on Anton Yelchin's death
>>84803826
>>Humans clearly mexicans
Kill yourself
>>84801687
The first film came out in 2002 the kids that were the main target then will be adults now.
>>84803826
>>Humans clearly mexicans
KEK
>>84801917
John Leguizamo isn't a celebrity and Leary and Romano weren't cast conspicuously, so no, the franchise wasn't always like that.
It was only good for this piece of promo artIt's at the right height to cut a hole, if you know what I mean
>>84802690
It's just trolling Paul fiegman said the movie needed to gross 500 mil to be a success
>>84815792
>not wanting to fuck Buck
Not just spics. Brazilians love this movie too.
Scrat was created by a brazilian, after all.
But now that you guys mentioned it, yeah, the movie is marketed towards us indeed.
>>84816001
>brazilians
>not spics with an odd accent
>>84801917
How the fuck they got Black Science Guy to be in this movie?
>>84816001
BR here. The first two movies were alright but they got overboard with it so I think no one cares about Ice Age anymore here.
Foreign sales, dude. Russia in particular fucking loves all our throwaway CGI cartoon movies. They're responsible for Shrek and Ice Age and Chipmunks getting so many damn sequels.
>>84816127
Except these movies always makes a shitton of money here every time they're released.
>>84816035
We are latinos but we are not spics.
Unless we open our goddamn mouths you'll never know what countries we come from. Unlike spics.
Americans are too dumb to understand that. We are the giant special snowflake of south america.
>>84801734
top kek
Honduran here, can confirm. I think it's the slapstick, people here love slapstick. They especially love that sloth thing.
>>84801687
it's already on 200 million worldwide
they don't care what you think
>>84801862
>I saw this coming
no, you really didn't
>>84801687
What if it turns out it was good the whole time?
>first movie had humans
>third movie had dinosaurs
>fifth movie had aliens
What kind of fucked up universe are these characters living in?
Ice Age also had an elaborate german dub.
A famous german comedian that was HUGE in the 80's voices Sid.
Actually on par with Disney animated movie localization.
They didn't fuck around and it payed off.
Many plebs can't even tell the difference between Disney, Pixar, Fox or Dreamworks animated movies.
This guy deserved to be in a better movie franchise.
>>84816604
i think it's a fictional one where animals can talk and stuff like that
>>84815792
JESUS CHRIST
THAT'S JASON BOURNE
>>84816604
>sixth movie is about humans, dinosaurs, aliens, and animals all going to war
>>84801687
fuck you man I love the ice age films
>>84816878
SEND HIM HOME
>>84816127
>How the fuck they got Black Science Guy to be in this movie?
Probably offered to buy him a happy meal, the man is an attention whore.
>>84805177
>Ice Age and Rio are direct by a Brazilian Hack called Carlos Saldanha.
How much of a hack is he, may I ask?
>>84816937
then fuck you too
>>84819187
they would have at least had to pay him scale
it's not bad money for an afternoon's work
>>84801687
bomp
inb4 it make 1billion in China
>>84803826
It's funny because there are mariachis in the movie.
>>84801862
They make six to eight times their budget back.
>>84804763
kek
How much of train wreck does your career have to be that this is what you have been regulated to doing?
>>84826815

>>84808457
They love Cartoons.
We have a taco truck here, and on the opposite side of Jesus is Goku
>>84815792
>Sausage Party poster right next to one for a kids movie
>>84801734
Spic here
First 2 movies were alright. Not even we want to watch this one
