Most of the problem with the RPG elements was that it was super easy to break the game with the right duos by doing stun locks and high damage attacks and some characters were just so OP there was never a point in switching them out once you get them like Songbird (Has the highest DPS attack in the game and unstoppable when leveled appropriately)

Treat it like a masher and you will be fine but it' nowhere near as good as the first
