Why do French still care so much about 2d Animation? It's an art in France. They make great comics and classical 2d animated movies? It's only Japan and France in the world nowadays. How come?

I know they do but if you look at the US it's always just 3d animation. Now don't get me wrong. I love the stuff Pixar does but does the US still create a lot of 2d animation movies? Does any WESTERN country still create 2d movies? No! It's only France (sometimes working together with BELGIUM but only the French part of it).
Same goes for comics. US always has had all the action hero crap I can not stand. France has this specific charm and this goes for ALL french speaking countries: Look at French, Belgian and Canadian comics.
And yes I know US has Indie comics which differ but those are Indies while 2d hand drawn stuff has always been big in France.

So yeh I never said they do NOT do 3d so this was beyond the point. I am just saying no one else does what they do.

Yeah, there are some smaller 2d studios around Europe, Ireland in particular punches above its weight but France is by some distance the most influential European country for animation.
Having a prestigious animation school like Gobelins in the middle of Paris definitely helps. Gobelins is to Europe as CalArts is to the USA, except without all the "CalArts style" controversy.

Even if I partially agree with you, I think there is lesser filler than in season one. BUT season one is better.
Major problem is Tristepin, one season and 3 OVA focusing on him was a mistake. + Qilby was undevelloped.
