Since it's an imprint, it has lower thresholds and will continue with minimal sales. DC's also doing phenominally well with Rebirth. Since they're not putting out as many products but selling a ton, their production costs are lower and their profit margin is bigger. This allows them to have more funds for niche titles for artistic reasons beyond pure sales - like Young Animal and the new Deadman mini. TLDR: Spend money on DC so we can continue to have nice things.

Rachel Pollack's run, which came afterwards, is very polarizing.
While I think she wrote interesting stories, and it feels as if she had "more" to say than Morrison, it feels at parts kinda fanboyish. Also some of the new characters can also be divisive.

Giffen's is pretty hit-and-miss, trying to tie together every previous incarnation, doing justice to some and not so much to others.

I also really like the original first run, which is just good old fun à la Fantastic Four
