This Superman is the pre flashpoint superman. The new52 Superman is supposedly dead.

He's Superman from pre-Flashpoint. He and Lois got placed here during Convergence and had a kid. They've been in hiding with Clark being Superman quickly saving people and disappearing and Lois being a journalist under a pseudonym. They've been working the past give years to prevent as many of Superman's villains from happening as possible. New-52 Superman died and Clark decided to come out of hiding because the world needs a Superman. They all still live under a different name though since New-52 Lois outed New-52 Clark as New-52 Superman.

Post-Crisis Clark ended up on the New 52 world during convergence but mostly hanged around in the background as he couldn't get back and just wanted a quite family life. Most he did was behind the scenes stuff. Now after New 52 Clark died, Post-Crisis decided to finally step up and fill in until the other "gets better" like he did back in the Death of Superman. Now he's dealing with the implications of it and other capes being suspicious about him.
