Depends on what you qualify as more white than anything most people don't see the whiteness in mixed people because of shit like the one drop rule or viewing white as the default. Looking closer to their white family doesn't matter because people just key in on the black features. It doesn't matter if you're significantly lighter than your black parent because they only really see you're significantly darker than your white parent. New Beetle at her darkest is usually light olive, but she changes a lot.
Also I think pic related is before she was decided to be Tombstone's daughter.
