The doctor who cartoon by nelvana wouldve been fucking awsome. The grundgy texture and intricate technological detail was purely beautiful. Lets have an unproduced cartoon tread.
Didn't the allocated funds and staff then just make Inspector Gadget?

I dont know. I thought at this time doctor who was canceled, and they were gonna bring it back in cartoon form in the 90s. And wasnt inspector gadget from DICk?

Is this supposed to be kind of an abstracted design? Because the wardrobe says Four/Five, but the face and hair say One.
Also, the hell are those Daleks flying around on?
A new type of dalek design was planned, including more tank like features and a more flexible manipulator arm.

No, Inspector Gadget came from the Lupin the 8th project.
The cyberman wouldve been more slender and futureistic.
At one point K9 wouldve had a video screen for a face, one of the few designs which was subpar then its tv counterparts.
The tardis wouldve looked relatively the same on the outside.
The inside however, would have some differences to it, including a more orgainic looking console.

This design implies they straight up remove the brain instead of stuffing the whole person into a suit. I dig it.
There were many different designs of the doctor considerd, which ranged from more classic to more modern.

Exactly, like the cybus cyberman originally were from the new series.
Alot of designs introduced more elements into the show, like an alien pet for the new companion, and a bizarre tank thing with a manipulator part.
A new villian with a mechanical pet bird was also considerd.
One of the most consieerd designs for the doctor seemed to have been a more modern doctor with black hair and a 90s haircut.
And finally, bessie wouldve been brought back, but had been upgraded into having hovering parts instead of wheels.

Because this is a cartoon, they probably would've played up the TARDIS as a character, and /co/ would've waifu'd the fuck out of her.

The Cybusmen were cool at first, but they outstayed their welcome. Glad to have the Mondasians back. Especially after Gaiman gave them that hilariously badass upgrade. Holy shit, Neil, calm down.

I kinda like it.

This is both cool and ridiculous.
So, why did it never get off the ground?
