Is Avatar: The Last Airbender one of the best western animated shows of all time?

>shitty wannabe anime
>good
Pick one.
Yes.
Great thread, OP.
Everyone go home.

Yeah, I mean it's not perfect. But it's flaws are so outweighed it doesn't really matter. It pretty much is the best cartoon the modern west has done, anyways. Has a good narrative, well-developed characters, good action scenes and comedy, and some fresh ideas in a world where action shows have become boring as fuck.

nice bait, br0h
Anyways, what is the best arc and why is it the Boiling Rock?

Thanks

I liked the one where they were pretending to be fire nation citizens.
>>84607579
In my completely subjective opinion, yes i think it is.
>>84607579
Eh.
It's definitely one of the most ambitious. But there are dozens of comedy cartoons that did comedy better than ATLA did serious storytelling.
Avatar is now coming back in brand new webseries

>best arc
>not ba sing se
shit was manchurian candidate tier.
>>84608885
I remember the first time they got into Ba Sing Se. Amazing.

>HELLO, I AM JU-DI
Why don't they just adapt the Avatar Comics?
>>84609318
Why would they bother?

Holy shit, no. Those are terrible.
>>84609318
>>84609507
Those are comfy, but not good enough for an animated series.
>>84609524
I would say The Search is downright terrible instead of comfy. Also not enough content to actually make a series out of it. Every arc can be literally done in two episodes. Three if we wanna stretch it.

This
See you all next week!
>>84607593
I'll pick good because it's not a shitty wannabe anime

Bryke tried.
Nickelodeon wanted more Korra instead.
I like Voltron more
