After reading enough of her rants about shit that doesn't matter on CBR I became convinced not to pay for anything she writes.

To be frank what I remember reading of Jem she wasn't THAT bad, She is kinda too new to know how to handle some things, like character intros in Jem are about as subtle as a brick, Rio comes off as incredibly creepy, Stormer and Kimber's relationship was so quick I got whiplash but to be honest I think some of that could be fixed.

You know, I tried reading these books a while ago, and it seems like it has a solid core if it wasn't for some of the more bullshit parts of it (Like the crazy fast relationships and the feeling of the whole thing being rushed).

Does it get better past issue 6, or are the same issues present?

I know Sophie deserves a lot of the credit for this book's look but I'd like to applaud Robado's coloring on the book

It ties everything together quite nicely, especially on the issues with guest artists

I don't even look at them so much as the shape of the lettering and what's going on with the page. Reading them takes you out because they're so derp. Like a lot of lyrics without music to it, but this has no option for music so one has to let art wash over and through them

Pizzazz's stance is honestly pretty reasonable here and she isn't even flipping out over Kimber being the subject of it. This is distressingly calm and sane, like an actual band leader. Crazy
