For years I wanted a Banjo-Kazooie Saturday morning-type cartoon, but we all know how impossible that is.

Somewhat related but while Sonic Boom cut out all the side characters to make things simpler, Team Chaotix would've fit in great with that world. An episodic series of their missions with the occasional backstory would have a lot of potential.

And this is more slice-of-life anime but I would like a miniseries about the Animal Crossing npcs, each episode focusing on a different one's day (Tom Nook, Brewster, Pelly and Phyllis, and the Able sisters in particular). I'd want the tone to be more quiet and thoughtful than moebait (no Isabelle).

You'd have to change too much for it to work. All of the fights depend on it being a turn-based video game. You have to do multiple playthroughs to get all of the story. The lack of continuity of some cartoons isn't the same as 99% of games resetting at the end or having deletable save files.
