Avoided it like the plague for years because I thought it looked gay as fuck but goddamn is it a good show.

It is, however, still extremely extremely gay

Moral Orel is really good. I wouldn't say it'should similar to BoJack in a lot of ways, but it is an extremely dark slice of life in a small religious fundamentalist town. But as I said, it is very dark, especially in its third season. Honestly, I think the best comparison for it is Don't Hug Me I'm Scared, since they both spoof traditional morals from TV sitcoms like Leave It to Beaver or just TV as a whole.
