That's a reference to a sci-fi book, God-Emperor of Dune. Mandy in that episode would be God-Emperor Leto Atreides II, who to put it shortly is a immortal indestructible human-worm hybrid who can see the future. The alien worms produced a drug called the Spice before Leto killed them by terraforming the desert planed they lived on (but not until he fuses with a bunch of them). The Spice did all sorts of nifty things like extending the average human lifespan to over 300 years and making it possible for people to precisely control every muscle in their body with adequate training

He has the last stockpiles of Spice left in the universe and controls the Spacing Guild (which make FTL space travel possible via minor prescience) and the Bene Gesserit (all-female group of space super-jesuits who took it upon themselves to protect humanity, until they fucked up a breeding program meant to produce a male Bene Gesserit and ended up being turbocucked by Leto's father before Leto proper) via Spice-based hydraulic despotism, as members of both organizations are hopelessly addicted to the Spice as a necessity for their abilities to work.

He basically turns the universe into a less edgy but more excruciatingly boring version of Warhammer 40k (Dune is actually a major inspiration for 40k). This is done because his father fucked up by using his prescience too much and leading humanity into a timeline of certain extinction, so Leto has to carry out a millenia-spanning plan called the Golden Path to ensure humanity survives as long as possible. For this to be possible he needed to keep clones of the former Atreides House swordmaster Duncan Idaho (Billy here), because he NEEDS to be assasinated by him by using his one weakness - water.

This has the end goal of making humanity collectively fear centralized power and charismatic leaders like him in their "genetic memory" (long story)

The funny thing is that none of the previous books are that weird

yeah I've always felt Billy would end up huge, like big enough to make both Grim and Hoss look relatively small in comparison(which is saying something considering Grim is like 6'6" or something like that, and Hoss is also pretty big)

face wise this Mandy is pretty good(even if I feel she could use some plumper lips as it helps make up for the no nose thing in terms of facial complexity), but I feel Mandy should have at least one physical trait that really stands out above average(whether it be tits, ass/hips, or even giving her some noticeable muscles), and lastly for the clothes, overall it's fairly fitting, just needs something to spice it up, like give her some accessories/jewelry, maybe some fancier shoes(Mandy to me feels like one of those girls who wears mostly heeled and/or platformed shoes, to both make herself taller and for the intimidation factor they can give), feel they would help on the presentation aspect

yeah Mandy should have big hair, that much is a given(and even if it's relatively short in length it should still have a good amount of volume to it)


SLB's art might be kinda hit and miss(especially with the faces lately), but I definitely feel he got it right on the sort of figure an adult Mandy should have, curvaceous yet visibly strong, also the outfit and hair hits a lot of the right notes in my opinion as well(although I'd change the boots to high heeled ones, maybe add a belt, and maybe switch the skull earrings for a different type, I think she'd look good with some big hoops personally)

Billy is her minion and comic relief. If he died, all she would have left is Grim, who openly hates her guts and would kill her in an instant if given the chance.

Well, I used SAI ever since 2012, and ever since then I've have just learned how to get used to the features and layouts to SAI, when compared to PS, it just feels more comfortable using SAI than not.
Case in point, just try using SAI and see how you like it. I can't say this for your experiences, but PS doesn't seem to register using my tablet with it and when I was able to get it working in SAI at the beginning of this year, I just do all my work in SAI, line art, coloring, etc. The only thing I use PS with is line cleaning and adding blend effects that SAI doesn't have. Really, if SAI could just have PS's effects/layer limit than I'd say SAI is 100% better than PS imo. However if you want to make a drawing that doesn't have a background, you'd also need to use PS.

if I recall properly the artist mentioned that Milly basically has a personality that's a mix of her parents, Mandy's smarts and leadership traits, mixed with Billy's positivity and lack of common sense, also I'm sure she'd have plenty of supernatural stuff in her life even before enemies of her parents and Grim show up, as some of her friends would be the kids of other GAOBAM characters(one of them would be Mindy and Irwin's kid for example)
