On the 3rd day of July, my true love gave to me
Three Unknown Soldiers!
>>84221051 Two Haunted Tanks!
>>84199010 And a rock-hard sarge from Easy!
Today's gonna be a little different, because I have plans some of the night.
I have to leave after this first issue, but the next three are on auto-dump.
Hopefully I'll be back after that or at least have a chance to start the next part of the storytime: Garth Ennis' Unknown Soldier
Fuck yeah, all this Kubert goodness.

I can only suspend disbelief so far
This the Ennis mini?
Last page was corrupt, sorry fellas

Such a good fucking page.
I got the 2008 series after this, stay tuned
Well, that was certainly something.
For a second, I thought it was kind of odd that both Unknown Soldier and Haunted Tank had reboots with a new black lead around the same time.
But then, reboots with a new black lead have kind of been a thing for more than a decade, haven't they? Jakeem Thunder, Shilo Norman, the second Azrael, Batwing, Manhattan Guardian from Seven Soldiers, just off the top of my head. Not that that's bad or anything.
Wait, literally all those characters are created by Grant Morrison
I'm glad to be posting this because it's fucking great, but it's a little more about the horrors of war in Africa by Africans rather than war by Americans.
Maybe I should have done Priest's mini about Unknown Soldier in Vietnam, but I started this and it's too good to stop now.
c-c-c-combo breaker!Seriously though, op, thanks again. Happy Freedom Day!

Thank YOU, anon, for reading!
If I can introduce even one person (myself included, sometimes) to a good comic they wouldn't have otherwise read, it's worth my time.
I have to say, some parts of this comic are doing Ennis better than Ennis.
Let's take it to the new thread, fellas.
