Here's the thing that always bugs me about high-tech weaponry like the Mole Man's staff there: If it were a gun... just like, an average gun that you could buy in any regular shop anywhere in America, no matter how obviously fucked-up or mentally ill you are... that shot would have been lethal, right? He has this supposedly high-tech weapon which is much less effective and much less powerful than a handgun which could have been bought over the counter even a hundred years beforehand. Why even bother lugging around a weapon with so little firepower when something so much more effective is so readily-available?

The massive amount of slice of life and romance in this series really makes me think this was an early attempt to get girls into capeshit, and they needed the romance to hook them in because all women like romance, right?

Ah, the best storytimes on /co/. This series has really open up, to me at least, to the utter insanity of the Marvel Universe throught Cage & Danny's eyes but in their own way they roll with it. Cage has seen some shit in early days, Magic crap with Strange & Danny, beat up Doom, teamed up with F4, Motherfucking Rom, Gianat Monsters, spies, Noir stuff, crooked shitbags and an evil ass soda machine.
