Well, considering that the Republic moves it's capital in relation to the homeworld of the acting Supreme Chancellor, there really wasn't much point in staying on Coruscant. The Jedi held temples all over the galaxy. But their main one before the end of the Clone War being on Coruscant was likely so that the Jedi council could respond quickly to decisions in the Senate on whether a Jedi was needed to cool down a certain conflict.

But seeing as that's not the case anymore, he really didn't need to hold a presence on Coruscant. Though I'm sure that the long term plan would've been to have all the temples manned in the future when there were enough Jedi.

It's mostly the fact that current marketing is skewing heavily towards the OT, and TFA as a whole was a big nostalgia fest (and we've seen Abrams actively avoiding prequel references with such a pettiness that I'm actually amazed the clone army reference was in there). It's not true and there's definitely still prequel stuff, but it is noticeably de-emphasized. The reasoning for it depends by product though, and in a few cases it makes sense (the movie marketing for example, which was aimed at bringing the OT back into public consciousness and thus it made sense that you saw less prequel stuff), but then you have stuff like Battlefront which had no reason at all not to include any PT/TCW content of any kind.

The reason they're rare is because very few people kept them in good condition. They were played with or otherwise manhandled, so having one that's in good condition or better yet, still in its package is a rarity.

Incidentally this is why none of the modern figures are ever going to be worth money- everyone saw that new Star Wars figures were being made in 1995, bought up shitloads expecting them to be worth money someday the way the vintage ones were without understanding WHY those were worth money, and now the secondary market is flooded with figures that are going for less than what their original store price was.

Sort of depends on how you look at it and whether you consider sublines to count, but in general... two. There's the vintage line that went from 1978 through 1985, and the "modern" line which started in 1995 and has run uninterrupted ever since.

The modern line changes its look and occasionally adds a subtitle like Power of the Force or The Saga Collection or such about once a year, but it's technically still the same toyline that started in 1995.

It's important to remember that articulation has been up and down- in 1995 they were almost as poorly articulated in the vintage line and slowly started gaining more and more points. Black Series as a whole is a big change from how they used to do things, especially with 6 inch now being their big thing, but it's still considered by most collectors to be part of the same long line.

I can't say anything spectacular, it was fun in it's own right. It was like a Star Wars version of Lord of the Ring Two Towers game and Return of the King game. The hang up I think was that some of the combos became virtually useless. Some of the combos you unlocked were pretty cool. Supposedly filled the gaps or scenes that George had to cut for pacing from the movies if I recall...if you actually believe that.

I think people want to believe that they may have had a secret child at some point, but not only is that out of character for both of them, but you'd have to explain why she never told Obi-Wan and actively kept her child hidden from the public (and come up with a better excuse than "it would be a scandal") or why they both knew and apparently never brought it up.

Rey parent theories are getting old. We'll find out when the time comes. We have other things to theorize about in the meantime. Besides, we already got a father-related twist in the original trilogy!
