Man, why did no one tell me /v/ was playing FE4? Those threads are the shit.
Arden is such a meme character.
Sorry for not checking in yesterday, gym left me WASTED.
Man, last thread died pretty quickly huh
Guess there's not much to talk about.
I'm gonna be honest, I myself have not read this stuff. I read the first few issues of Dazzler's ongoing and they bored me to tears so I didn't bother with the rest.
>>83967616
You are forgiven, the superhero physique is worth some sacrifices!
>>83967918
Haha, I don't think I'm willing to go that far. Only keeping myself in good shape is all.
>>83967653
There were like three different X-threads to compete with, you know how that saps discussion.
(as always my fave one was Cyke discussion)
whoever linked that behind the x-men site is a hero, great stories
>yfw Byrne wanted Dark Phenoix to end with Jean mentally regressed to age of about 10
jfc dude
Goddammit, Internet.
>>83967990
Yeah, I guess that makes sense.
>>83968031
Hah, classic Byrne!Seriously though dude, get help
>>83967922
Didn't they actually release a promo Dazzler single way way way back when? Like as a mail-order promotion offer thing in the back of a comic?
>>83968082
Who needs to get help when your group therapy sessions are published nation-wide?
>>83968088
Did they now? That'd be wild.
>>83968142
Man has his own forum. If that isn't enough to destroy an already fragile psyche I don't know what is.
Karma and Dazzler are two mutants that were not created by Claremont, right?
>>83968206
I am so epic glad they didn't do that idea though,
To go from first ever female cosmic powered superhero during an era of feminism to steriotypical bimbo fetish fuel would have been devastating to everything X-Men books had been representing to the fans.
WTF Bryne?
>>83968361
Claremont did create Karma.
>>83968144
It might have been a fake ad with no address to actually send an order to, they used to do things like that from time to time.
I had saved for years that wedding invitation they used to promote the Scott/Jean wedding issue.
Though, the black "mourning the death of Superman" armband promo gift went straight into the garbage.
>>83968525
>Though, the black "mourning the death of Superman" armband promo gift went straight into the garbage.I still have that
Man, this translation patch is almost more trouble than it's worth.
IIRC Dazzler had a friend or sister with mutie murderpowers that was decades later a "horsewoman" of Selene in the Necrosha event.
>>83968831
Man, that thing was nostalgia-candy. They pulled everyone out of the memory-hole for Necrosha.
My faves were the Hellions, their powers sucked so damned bad, how were they even threats back in the day?
(yes, X-Anon, I know you just storytimed them not too long ago...)
And damn them for not sticking to their drama-guns with Blink!
>>83967628
i love rogue and her badass mannerisms, and her ass in general
>>83969029
>And damn them for not sticking to their drama-guns with Blink! No complaints from me!
Ugh, why Farrah-hair? Why?

Maybe you can help with a question X-Anon...
I remember seeing a Dazzler comic that had a thinly veiled parody of Jim Shooter in it. He took control of a writer's room, was delusional, and insisted that all characters speak in red bubbles. Any idea what issue that was?
It may have been a different comic?
>>83969111
I think I like evil Rogue more than other versions.
>>83969230
When in doubt, always blame the decade.
>>83969259
I have no idea, anon, I am far from a Dazzler expert, I'm afraid.
>>83969029
I think Catseye had potential, I like Rahne but liked Catseye even more.
She would have been a much better character than Feral or Wild Child in the 90s.
>>83969259
He just posted that issue, man. >>83968836
>>83969402
Ah, how embarrassing, I don't even read the shit I post.
>>83969402
Well, that's what I get for posting before reading!
And that's all for today, even more Dazzler tomorrow! Until then!
>>83969332
Not me. She creeped me the hell out, but Marvel doesn't have enough iconic mutants who look like mutants should look, so it is a shame she's gone.
Why can't they bring back all these mutant villian teams like the Acoltyes, the Brotherhood, the Hellions, the Morlocks and fill the ranks of a team that isn't the X-Men for once?
>>83969680
I like her because she was creepy as fuck.
>>83969680
Well, there was the Supernova arc.
>>83969839
There's a real tendency at Marvel to kill off those creepy mutant characters.
Being pretty is better for your long-term health than a healing factor.
>>83969651
Waitaminute ... did Dazzler ask the giant dog Inhuman if he wanted a nightcap???
"... care for a nightcap?"
Uuugh, guys ... ?
up. up for Dazzler!
>>83973457
- "That's what Lockjaw said."
>>83971487
Hey, maybe Inhuman dogs drink booze. Only polite to offer.
>>83967728
The only Dazzler issues I got a kick out of were the Dazzler the Movie and Beauty and the Beast minis. Watching Dazzler be corrupted by Hollywood is so much more entertaining than the rest of what goes on in her ongoing. This is one of those books I'm pretty content to skip out on.
>>83969332
>Catseye
Needs to be alive and hang out with Rahne.
>>83968031
there are a lot of blogs about x-men
like unpublished x-men, how do you fix, etc.
>>83967728
>tfw I'm the only person who likes Dazzler
Ey, at least it's not Secret Wars.
>>83975545
Well, even if...
She's got all these issues in her honour, X-Anon has promised the next thread to be devoted to her as well, and if you enjoy her newest makeover look you can now enjoy to the fullest her recent comeback.
And to think, even if you're her only fan - it's all been for your benefit. Lucky you.
>>83969259
I feel like that was supposed to be Bob Harras
>>83967504
That's kinda hot.
>>83976087
too much goodness in one thread
>>83976087
I AM lucky.
