I thought /co/ hated this guy.
I kinda wish he stuck to one thing, maybe two. I wouldn't mind if all he did was Apsara and Little Victory (despite me not being interested in either) instead of making new SA or Battle Bunnies pages slower than Lackadaisy. He does enough art on the side to "wind down" or "do other stuff not to stagnate", why tease with those two.
I don't find his porn particularly arousing, but he;s pretty funny.

First off, /co/'s not a hivemind. Secondly, the segment of /co/ that even knows JJ exists fall mainly into two camps.

First off, you get the people who love him, because he's catering to their fetish, or they really love SA, Little Victory and/or those "How to play" videogame comics of his. Hey, at least they're honest

On the other hand, there are people who either dislike his attitude (he can be an asshole) or the dumb shortcuts he takes with his art; tiny heads have already been mentioned (some have suggested that it's a fetish of his), but there's also his tendency to draw gigantic fringes over the eyes, that are also weirdly transparent at the same time... somehow. >>83896046 and >>83901474 are pretty good examples, but I believe he's gotten better in recent years.

I recall that JJ and Minifig, of all people, used to get into slapfights on /co/ where Mini would post this collage of edits where he'd made the fringes opaque (which was super spergy, but in all fairness they DID look better) and JJ would just say that he didn't to take any art advice if it wasn't super-nice and had no negativity whatsoever, because that would hurt his fee-fees. JJ posted a pro-Dobson comic a year ago, to the surprise of no-one.

As you may have guessed, I'm in the latter camp. If you're in the former... whoopdee-shit. I got into way too many arguments already about this crap, and if tiny heads get your juices flowing, then go right ahead.

I used to, but I swear he's gotten worse at telling a story over time. I stopped bothering to read it during the Narnia arc, and have had no desire to get back into it. Comic hasn't been funny in a long while. The comic he did in support of Dobson let me know I made the right choice.

I'm not really sure if that comic was supposed to be pro-Dobson. The way he's presented it could just as well be read as mockery.
He did write a journal post against people who criticized Dobson for drawing fetish art in his past, but I think he also railed on Dobson for denying that past as well. He also wrote something after Dobson left dA, but I forgot what.
