Man, I'm so amazed that our Channel Tans really so much better than their knock off Comic Publishers Tans.


Its like the creation of Channel tans was made in the same way that MCU, whith a slow start focusing in the main 3 and developing the others with time.

Comic tans feel like DC movieverse; rushed to catch up with our project, poor designs, Poor characterization and over crownded with characters since te beggining.

On the last thread we were talking about making CN tan cousin of DC tan. I think that we should explore this, and OUR superior version of DC tan.

Also as a side note, for all of it's RAD and HIPness, XD is totally cheesy. Pic related, I needed something to play in the background while I played videogames and stumbled upon this beauty. Completely childish and full of cost saving animation practices. It eschews traditional characterization for more easily accessible character tropes that's still fun.

"Canon" designs for the -tans have been drawn rather easily. There's been no argument or discussion on how they look or act, so you already have set designs for them.

And you're going to run out of channels to moeify soon, right? Are there any more that need designs? It kinda feels like there's a complete cast already. And how much mileage can you get out of that?

I don't know how long this will last, but I kinda doubt it will be as long as Console-tans at this rate. Consoles are released every couple of years. It normally takes a decade or so for a new programming block or even a channel to show up.

The Network-tans need to purify the "corrupted" (dead) networks and blocks that have turned dark and evil and cause problems for them.

The dead spirits of the past things have been corrupted by the bigger companies (Fox, Viacom, and Disney-tan's father, among possible others.) And It's up to out heroines to stop them.

The corrupted spirits of former -tans take on more monstrous forms, but when purified, they return to their original looks and ascend into network-tan Valhalla.

Hollywood Video and Blockbuster are a couple of the Executives strongest and deadliest corrupted tans. It's like season ending bosses. They've been corrupted to the point purification is almost impossible.

The Executives are attempting to corrupt all networks and use them in their army to take over the world and make people pay extra for cartoons. Can the combined forces of CN-tan, Disney-tan, and Nick-tan stop them?

As a possible bonus, the girls only use their network names when in magical girl mode. The rest of the time they have typical civilian names.

I kinda want to work the angle that she's actually a grown up Noggin, but as she grew older, they replaced her with her youngest sister, Nick Jr.

She used to be fairly innocent til her pet bird she let live on her head died. Then as she got older, she went through a phase as she got forced to air more drama shows and she would yearn for the good ol' days. After a breakdown, she got into therapy and soon after was mandated to get an overhaul and become Teen Nick.
