Is synergy being forced upon writers or are writers such hacks that they include things from adaptions because they haven't read old runs? I mean look at black Wally, apparently they did that on their own.

i used to get mad about shit like that but then you realize big2 comics are just corporate properties meant to make money. To expect them to choose quality or dignity over profit is misplaced. It's essentially buying a whore then getting mad when you see her being a whore the next day.
