Every time I talk to my sonygger friends they beg me to get a PS4 to play UC4 with them, I always tell them that I'd never buy a console to get a single game. Suddenly they announce a Spider-Man game and now I'm not so sure.

That being said, I'm pretty skeptical about it. I dislike the suit. I really don't like the white parts, I don't like the blue split going over the shoulders and I'm not a fan of the feet either. The only part I like about it is the eyes, and they're just shamelessly taken from Civil War (not that that's a bad thing).
The game looks worryingly cinematic, the split second shot of the player swinging looks identical to the swinging in the ASM games. The way he lands on that black car gives off similar vibes as well.

That being said, the game will surely have costume options and we'll have to wait for decent gameplay footage before any of my fears can be confirmed. For now, I've got an intense need to replay SM2.

I was mainly working on doing 616 spidey first, but I'll add in ultimate later

Haven't read the thread yet, just wanna drop in my opinion. The costume is pretty weird, but spidey game's usually have multiple costumes, so i'd be surprised if you couldn't unlock a more classic looking outfit.

Also did anyone play Sunset Overdrive? It was fantastic in terms of moving around the world, so I feel like they could really deliver some damn fine swinging finally.

I want to believe that this will be the next Spider-man 2, but I've been hurt so many times.

Just finished beating this fishbowled schmuck in shattered dimensions. Him and his little toxic purple fart-balls and purple flavored fucktoys are so fucking annoying on hardmode. And when you try to do that awesome move amazing does by knocking the enemy in the air and then back down? You glitch out and he chokes you like his fucking dick, and tosses you away like, "Uh...Uh...UHHHHH! SPIDER-MAN!"

Fuckingg hate Mysterio after that. I'd love for him to be a boss just so I could smack him around.

For real though it was nice to get some challenge. SD is surprisingly difficult on hard mode.
