They constantly need to make excuses to keep him powered up even though Jimmy surpassed him in Season 2 during the Great Egg Arc. He's the least relevant character and his character development went out the window by Season 3.

His imperfections is what makes Donut Boy great tho. He's possibly the strongest character in the manga version of /Co/Co/'s Bizzare Adventure with the strongest stand seen so far which means he might not even appear in the anime but he's kept from being a Mary Sue because even tho he's extremely powerful he keeps his powers restrained as he himself doesn't trust how powerful his stand is, he's also not the brightest character and he indeed tends to be full of himself but he's still not a Mary Sue at least not as big of a one as Daffy/Literally Me.

I want a spin-off series revolving around Sam and his bar, call it Sam's Candy Bar. Introduce this new character who is a waitress at Sam's, a troubled, orphaned teenager that Sam takes in wanting to give her another chance in life (and fill the waitress position) basically, Sam is a grumpy curmudgeon with a heart of gold that bosses around the girl but just wants to see her get off the path she's on.

The show revolves around weird and catastrophic things that pop up like in the original show only it revolves around Sam, the girl and the bar like aliens that come to Retroville to sample Earth cuisine or an ancient demon lord that returns to get revenge on Sam's ancestor who slayed him. We can also have more emotion driven episodes involving the girl, her past and her relationship with Sam yeh.

We can also have sort of a burger of the day gag where in every episode there is a new flavor that ties in to the episode's events, like Brimstone in the demon one.
