If it wasn't for Jean ex Machina he would have won. The final fight was literally everyone uselessly flails at Apoc till Xavier suddenly realizes he has the biggest trump card of all and tells Jean to get off her ass. And even that was a little silly, that Jean was able to just will herself to suddenly unleash stupidly powerful abilities and blast him.

They didn't want to destroy the world, they were into getting upgrades, and living in a world of strong winning over the weak. Also the world wasn't going to be destroyed, just everything built by weak groups of humans.

I'd honestly expect that a jet build by weapon X was made out of synthetic, non metallic materials, and they just cut out that little explanation.

He didn't know, he just had the bad/good timing to show up at that time, then ran through it till he found them, mid explosion. Then you can plainly see him just say oh boy, time to get to work.

They probably just didn't think of it. They spent hours planning, getting ready, making sure they were all metal free... They nabbed a little girl in her pajamas, probably didn't even think to search her.

Xavier feels the world needs to learn to be better without him. Put them on the path to peace, not force them.

Even though he could literally force them....... I mean it took a while but eventually the made evil mutants that do this for their own will, and basically Xavier aint evil, but he aint good.

The x-men have gone from Good aligned that fights evil to neutral, that fights good and evil. Inhumans used to be neutral, but marvel is switching their alignment.
