So, I felt like reading Etrigan. I'm not one of those types who feels like they need to read everything that the character has ever appeared in, so I just went for the books that he stars in. I obviously started with Kirby's original series (which holds up really well 40 years later), then read Matt Wagner's 4-issue mini, and continued on to Alan Grant's run. The thing is, Grant's #1 reads like a story already in progress. I know he wrote a few Etrigan stories before the launch of Demon vol 3, but I didn't think I would have to read them beforehand.
What I'm wondering is, does anyone have a reading order for Etrigan between the end of Matt Wagner's miniseries and the start of Alan Grant's Demon #1?
So was it good anyway, OP? Worth reading?

Kirby's Demon is great. Definitely recommend it. Wagner's mini was kind of boring, honestly. Can't really speak on Alan Grant since I'm only an issue in, but mostly I'm looking forward to reading Garth Ennis' Etrigan.

Thanks!
Well, I found what I was looking for. It's the Etrigan stories in Action Comics #636-641.
