I was originally planning to stop here but I decided against it.

This is such a great storyline. Perfect buildup and payoff.

Also, I really like how Simonson drew Surtur, especially in the face. It's mostly a single flat shade of red, but it's still really expressive and has depth.

Cap and Iron Man being relatively grounded concepts(Super Soldier, rich dude in a suit of armor) closer to what mainstream audiences expect from Cape films.

Meanwhile Marvel somehow hasn't attracted to talent that could adapt Thor.

For whatever it's worth, as Thor and Odin are gods of the Norse, Tiwaz was a major god of the Germanic tribes who predated the Norse.

Those Germanic tribes mostly forgot their old gods and took up Christianity a few hundred years before the Scandinavian-Norse became a major thing in Europe.

So really, this is very well thought out on the writers part.
