I think this is still the same universe where Batman invented a serum that makes everyone, including Alfred, Superman strong so the trailer does make a bit of sense. Course I don't know how power armor helps at that point, but it's clearly there to do the variation system from MKX.

So what we can guess from the trailer is that the armor being put on isn't something that happens all in one fight, but that they've been putting more armor on and have been fighting for years. My hopes are pinned on Mongul somehow winning against DC's line-up in a fight, subjugating them, and forcing them to become gladiators on War World for years. Starts out with only the light no pun intended enhancements to survive against the lower enemies, but each fight "changes them, making them more ferocious."

MK AI had to literally cheat to not be piss easy to even spammers, that's what an "MK Walker" AI is.

Modern fighting games are a different beast compared to the fighters of the 90's. They're much more accessible and built around combat systems as opposed to the barebones and often glitch-centric meta in older games.

In MK/Injustice games especially, a passing understanding of a single combo with each character should be more than enough to wipe the floor with the AI.
