Liver, as an example, has a specific iron rich taste that definitely isn't the same taste as the meat of the animal, but I personally still like it. Most people just seem to either not know, or have forgotten this. They always use the word "enslaved", in stead of "slaved" which are two very different things. It gives people the wrong idea of what happened, and is disingenuous, not only to white people, but also to Africans.

And I'm not saying that "other people did it too" is an excuse, it was clearly a bad thing, but with the way it's being painted, it's also important to remember that is was a normal thing that has happened multiple times all over the world. Okay, I've been reading a bit, and it turns out cattle are raised on pastures until they are heavy enough, then they are shipped to feedlots and THAT is where they eat feed that is grown on land that would otherwise be used for human food, like corn. Roughage like corn stalks are fed to them but that's more to help with digestion.
